Having lived on the island of Majorca for 30 years, tried most Indian restaurants around the island. After reading many reviews about this restaurant, I thought I would give it a try. It was extremely busy when I arrived, and as it was only myself eating I thought I will be able to get a table. Upon asking a waiter if he had room for one, I had a stern reply no !! come back later, no offer of would you like to have a drink at the bar and wait just a straight no. Another way to came up to me and offered me a table without hesitation. It was a good 15 minutes before anybody asked if I wanted a drink or to offer me a menu. After finally been offered the opportunity to order a drink and to Perusse the menu. I decided on wine a couple of poppadoms, mixed grill tandoori and rice. I also ordered a dress/vindaloo hot sauce to accompany my meal. The wine arrived promptly and was extremely tasty for a house wine. Unfortunately the poppadoms took another 15 minutes to arrive . My mail finally arrived. I was unimpressed with the rice as it was quite tepid in temperature. The top of the rice was brown and underneath was white and cold, it was obvious that the rice had been served and put under a heat lamp to keep warm whilst my meal was being cooked , as the top layer of rice was brown and hard. The Tandoori mix grill was uninspiring and all looked the same all extremely Red & rather tasteless. Also the sauce was not what I ordered. It was an extremely small pot of a lemon dip. It took at least five minutes to catch the attention of the waiter to explain the source I ordered was not served. Give them credit within five minutes, the source had arrived. I have heard many people raving about this restaurant, and I appreciate it was extremely busy upon my arrival, but from the moment I arrived the welcome was aggressive to the point of rude and the food I received was not to the standard of other restaurants in the area. Maybe it was because they were busy but in my eyes this is no excuse. I understand of a single person and they may not receive as much revenue from myself as they would a table of four. My bill was over €50 and I was only there for an hour, it would’ve been shorter if my order was taken sooner and correctly. So for me, my €50, was a fair turn around. I will give this Restaurant another try maybe when it’s not so busy, but it won’t be for awhile yet as I was totally uninspired by the reception the service...
Read moreWe just had a lovely time at Tandoori Night celebrating a milestone birthday for my mum. The host (I believe his name is Mirza) was very attentive and ensured we had a good time.
First the music was nice, some nice old school Hindi music alongside some classic Bollywood music. This created a nice atmosphere.
We were seated quickly and we ordered our cocktails and sangria promptly. These were served quickly and in funky presentation, which we enjoyed. Our sangria was very nice and the host was always on hand to pour the sangria for us and assist us in any way - for that the service and atmosphere was excellent.
There is a great deal of choice of food and we ordered two starters (plus a few papadums) alongside 4 dishes for main with naans.
Our drinks and starters came quite promptly but I would say there was time between starters and mains but we didn’t really notice it as we were drinking away! We could tell the food was being made fresh and it was really hot when it arrived - so it’s worth the wait!
The pickled spicy onion dip with the papadums was so amazing and we even got the recipe (thank you!!).
We were a party of four people and the food was more than enough (we couldn’t finish everything). My only criticism with the food is that it could have been more spicy (but I note that’s only my preference)
The host wished my mum happy birthday and asked if she was enjoying herself and surprised her with a complimentary cocktail which was lovely and very kind of him!
We had such a great time and recommend this place if you want a good Indian, with some lovely...

I recently dined at Tandoori Night, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for the evening.
The highlight of our meal was the Butter Chicken with rice and Onion Bhajis. The flavors were simply out of this world! The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, and bursting with the perfect blend of spices, making it an absolute delight for the taste buds. The rice was cooked to perfection and served as an ideal companion to the dish. The Onion Bhajis were crispy, flavorful, and a great way to start our meal.
What truly sets Tandoori Night apart is the incredible service provided by the owners. They go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. Their attention to detail and dedication to making the dining experience memorable is truly commendable.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist with menu recommendations and accommodating dietary preferences. It's evident that the owners and their team are passionate about what they do, and it reflects in the quality of the food and service they provide.
I can't recommend Tandoori Night highly enough. If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine with impeccable service, this is the place to be. It's a hidden gem in the culinary world, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal. Five stars are simply not enough to do justice to this...
