I posted this in 2021, but google turned it down so I had to edit a little bit my review. Backat our experience of this hotel of July 2021, when we arrived in the morning of course we had to wait for check in that was gonna be at 15:00. The lady at reception told us that we could go to the spa but when we got there there we just waited for someone to come but no one came in, so after 30 minutes we went back upstair to ask if there is someone at the spa, but she told us that the spa is closed and also that we have to pay when at the beginning we got told from her that is free. Therefore after waiting 6 hours, we got at the reception at 15.00 so they gave the keys and some papers with the instructions of the hotel and got told that we can go to our room without telling us all the details and things that are available at the hotel. So we went to our room without being accompanied by a staff member, and when we arrived there (PANORAMICA) as soon as we opened the door the room smelled like sewer and dirt. The bathroom was full of hair, the floor was dirty, under the bed there was dust, the closets and beds had spots of lipstick and even there was a dirty jacuzzi on the balcony that we did not even asked for on our order online. We went back at reception and told them what we had to experience into that room showing them photos that we had taken. The lady at the reception was kind enough to apologise and also changed our room as soon as possible. The lady accompanied and told us sorry for the inconvenience while taking us to our new room. The room (421) was better than the other but when the lady left we noticed that the floor was a little bit dirty and there was a booker on the wall! But at the end we decide to not change it because we were really tired and wanted to sleep. In the follow days the cleaning of the rooms were getting worse and worse, we noticed that they were only making the bed without changing the sheets, taking the trash of the bathroom only out and changing our towels only. I even had to ask to the cleaning lady to please change our sheets. We had to ask more than once to the cleaning ladies to clean our room properly like cleaning the floor changing the beds sheets and taking the trash out; Basically they were not cleaning the rooms it seems that they were there to drink tea instead of working. Because of the lack of cleanliness, one day we got visitors (ANTS, INSECTS) inside the room all over the floor because they were not taking our trash out. One of the last days by mistake I spilled soy sauce on the blanket of the bed, and when we got back from outside they just hid the spot under the pillows like we are some kind of moles and cannot see what's in front of our eyes. Our opinion is that this is some next level type of disrespect reached to the guests that are paying to sleep under this roof. At the end the booger that I mentioned at the beginning was never removed from the wall until we left was still there! We wanted to actually see if they were really cleaning. Another thing I saw at this horrible experience, is that once when I was having breakfast at the balcony, I was looking at this cleaning lady cleaning a balcony of the roof of a room with the floor mop, she saked the mop over the balcony where there was the private pool under. I saw all the dirt going into the private pool! When we had to leave and had to check out, the man at reception did not even asked us how our experience was, in fact it seemed like he actually wanted us to leave so fast that for the first time in 7 days we did not even had to call reception to open the gate of the...
Read moreWe were so excited, it was our first holiday abroad for quite a few years due to family commitments....so were so disappointed to arrive and find Jet2 had booked the wrong room, we were compensated in resort (but won't use them again in a hurry...). We were give a 'mountain' view room, this turned out to be a room that had a small view of a mountain, but also a huge 12 storey block of flats, the Spanish gather and eat quite late into the night & are quite noisy ..also the road at the front of the hotel was where all deliveries were made, so a constant barrage of noise from lorries, coaches, taxis, dustcarts. Holidaymakers in the annex would let the large metal gates clang shut most times. From our balcony we did see fruit and veg deliveries spilt on the road, then picked up and taken inside to the kitchens. We did see a prostitute dropped off and picked up.(won't go into detail of how we knew!!) The rooms were clean but the open style wardrobe was inside the WC/Shower cubicle, I don't hang my clothes in the loo at home and don't want to do it on holiday even if it is only for a week...yuk..maids were fab, honest and efficient. The food was fine, the breakfast was superb, couldn't fault it, even when my hubby chose what he thought was sausages that were next to the baked beans only to find it was fried banana...labelling could have been a little better. Restaurant Manager and team were so kind, they worked tirelessly, impressed. Wifi was hit and miss at times, told by reception their engineer was 'on it'. The fridge in the room was almost useless, top tip..get a bottle of frozen water from local spa shop and put it in your fridge, it really helps keep it cool. The Sky lounge was a real bonus...but even that had problems, the pool was only cleaned when another client went and moaned about the scum/grease mark around the pool. Concerned at lack of safety checks on umbrellas, one nearly flew over the glass and would have landed on bathers below had it not been for a guests quick response. The screws that hold the pole onto the base really need to be checked daily by staff members. The sails from the Bali beds would become loose and was caught by another guest before it plummeted over the side onto the swim up noms below (see photo no 25 on their Facebook page, it shows one already half hanging over!) The resort is so close to Magaluf that you can hear the Oggy Oggy chants at night. No old town to explore, just a long road of cheap Chinese 'tat' shops and restaurants that would be at home in Benidorm. The resort is clean. The beach never looked packed, and it was lovely to see the locals Spanish cluster together at the weekends and make full use of it... Evening entertainment was passable...literally...just pass on by!!... The hotel felt soulless and didn't have a vibe, which is such a shame as the roof top bar at night could have so easily been a fab chill out space, an ibiza chilled vibe would have been so easy to do and would have been very profitable. I feel too many opportunities are missed by management and this does affect the clients experience. Sadly all staff members need to be shown how to make a decent Sangria, had to go out of hotel to get it!!...its Spain, Com' on!!!... Haven't investigated who owns this hotel, but you really need to give your management team a pep talk...your photographs show a classy chilled hotel, you most certainly don't get...
Read moreWe stayed in room 323 in the main hotel which is one of the hotels accessible rooms as I am a wheelchair user. The bathroom had handrails, a shower seat and the sink height was good for me and my husband who is not in a wheelchair. I only have a couple of suggestions for improvement, firstly the patio door is not flush to the floor so I could not wheel onto the balcony, there is no bed rail and the room is located at the back of the hotel so overlooks the street and the bin storage area which could do with a lick of paint, so its not the best view. That said, the road is quiet and the balcony is shaded from the sun all day whereas the room on the other side overlooking the pool area is in full sun maybe this is the reason that we didn't really see other people on their balconies?||We booked directly with the hotel who also arranged flights which actually saved us £300 and also made us a 'privilege customer and were provided with a wristband which acts as your room key, allows access to the bali beds around the pool and also gave us a discount on a jug of sangria at the pool bar! I originally booked a 'comfort room with side sea view' however I emailed the hotel to check if it was suitable for wheelchairs and the response was that hotel needs to be directly contacted to book adapted rooms and therefore a room change was accommodated and I was informed that the adapted room does not have a view. This was an error on my part as I should know from experience to contact hotels directly. I do not know if there are any adapted rooms with a view? Upon arrival we were checked in by a lovely man called Daniel who was welcoming, professional and informative.||We were bed and breakfast which is fantastic, there is a great selection and it's delicious. The staff in the restaurant are friendly and can't do enough for you. Obviously being in a wheelchair the tables and chairs needed to be rearranged to accommodate me which was not a problem and we were even asked if we wanted to reserve a table for the following day to ensure that it was ready for us.||One of the pools has a pool chair which is a real bonus and a great touch. The lifeguard operate the chair both in and out of the pool. I cannot praise the male lifeguard enough. He was absolutely excellent, helping me to transfer from my wheelchair into the chair and out again. He handled me with such care and ensured that I could get in and out of the pool safely - and absolute star 🌟 ||Overall the hotel is totally accessible for people with mobility issues such as me. There are ramps, lifts and disabled toilets throughout. The staff are helpful and friendly. The beach is literally across the road and there are beach wheelchair and other aids available and ramps right into the sea. I didn't actually use them though so am unsure if these are free or if you have to hire them. Shops, restaurants and bars in the local area are generally accessible also.||As a wheelchair user, sadly I am used to being disappointed but that was not my experience at the Reverance Mare and we will definitely...
