Bodegon Canyamel — Restaurant in Capdepera

What a confusing place! Saw this eatery on the way back from seeing the magnificent Coves d'Arta and thought we would stop to eat. Waitress failed to crack a smile as we entered and then disappeared while we we left wondering if she would ever return. Others who came after us gave up and left but we remained and when eventually she approached asking what we would like we said a menu would be useful. Bizarrely her reaction was to sigh and reluctantly go and get us one!! It was only in German and Spanish but we did our best and ordered. The food was fine and an extra little bowl of olives was a nice touch but the shocking service left us with the question as to whether it was our nationality that was the problem or do you just not like customers?? How can you run a successful business like this?? You would not last long in England with this nonchalant attitude. We only stayed as the views across the bay were gorgeous but sadly we wouldn't recommend. You even disappeared when we wanted to pay!! Everywhere else in the area the service and welcome have been excellent Perhaps a brush up on your people/hospitality industry skills might be a good idea...

Fuimos sin leer las reseñas porque siempre apostamos al "ver para creer", porque es imposible complacer a todo el mundo. Entramos y dos veces dije "hola" y no hubo respuesta de la camarera, ni saludo, ni bienvenida ni nada, le pregunté si estamos a tiempo de comer y secamente nos dice "SI", (eran aprox las 14hrs). Le pregunté cuál era el menú me responde "está en la puerta".. .Pedimos el menú y plato de pasta con gambas, luego de media hora de mala gana nos trae los platos y me dice"la cocinera dice que no hay más sopa de espinacas" y me apoya un plato de sopa de zanahorias a lo cual le digo "no me gusta perdón pero deberías haberme dicho antes" "traeme por favor sólo el segundo" se fué y de mala gana volvió y me tiró en la mesa un plato de sopa de "espinacas" sorprendida le digo "había" , de mala gana me dice "SI", a lo que decidimos irnos. Resumiendo hasta los agradecimientos mios por traernos la bebida, los cubiertos etc, no me respondió! Sólo un "A la orden" y con ganas de matarnos... Dónde está la calidad de servicio?, dónde está la educación? , la verdad sólo sentí que estabamos molestando cuando sólo queriamos comer! Soy de esas personas agradecidas y siempre dejo bote, porque entiendo que detrás de cada plato, servicio hay un trabajador como yo. Pero esta vez no fué el caso, le faltaba buen trato y empatía, el plato de pasta con gambas soso, no le gustó a mi compañero, mis platos no pude degustarlos. Quiero hacer enfásis en la otra camarera Española que se disculpaba y ella nada tenia que ver. No nos cobraron el menú ( que no salió), que yo igualmente insistí en pagar.... hay muchos camareros, incluso sin experiencia para trabajar!!! Hay que apostar a ellos, gente con vocación!!..esto se los dije a ellos mismos. Mala...

Am 10.10.2025 durften wir einen entspannten Abend im Bodegón Canyamel verbringen. Die Atmosphäre war sehr gemütlich und typisch mallorkinisch.

Kulinarisch wurden wir mit den Hauptspeisen Paella, Hähnchenspießen und Spezial Burger verwöhnt. Nicht nur geschmacklich sehr gut, auch optisch herrlich angerichtet.

Leider war der Service nicht ganz optimal. Freundlich, jedoch hat man mehrmals Bestellungen vergessen bzw. etwas anderes gebracht als bestellt bzw. hat man uns Bestecks fürs bestellte Dessert gebracht, nach 30 Minuten wollte man uns das Besteck wieder wegnehmen, obwohl wir immer noch kein Dessert hatten. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass sie sehr unorganisiert und als Team nicht wirklich eingespielt waren. Während unsere Familie den Nachtisch aufgegessen hatte, bekamen wir dann nach langer Wartezeit statt flambierte Erdbeeren eine Kugel Vanilleeis mit heißen Erdbeeren… da war nichts flambiert… Für 8€ also ein totaler Fehltritt.

Die Rechnung überraschte: die Aioli mit Brot und Oliven wurden für 4 Personen mit 14€ berechnet… dabei hatte jede Person nur 1- 2 Oliven, ein kleines Mini-Brötchen und ein wenig Dip… Bei unseren bisher besuchten Restaurants in Canyamel ein Service inklusive - hier mit Berechnung.

Die Hauptspeisen waren gut und die malorquinische Creme auch… die Aussicht auch sehr hübsch, aber der Service ist definitiv...
