Restaurante canyamel — Restaurant in Capdepera

I recently had the opportunity to visit Restaurante Canyamel and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Upon entering the restaurant, I was completely ignored by the waiter while other guests were served before me. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and leaves a negative impression.

I approached the waiter about the preference given to the other diners who came after us, he waved us off and we were ignored. Just to understand we were dressed appropriately and not in beach attire or anything like that. As a paying customer you should feel welcome and appreciated, but unfortunately that was not the case in this instance. It is unfortunate that a restaurant that has such a beautiful location on the beach has such shortcomings in customer service. I sincerely hope that Restaurante Canyamel will improve its quality of service and ensure that all guests are treated equally and kindly.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Restaurante Canyamel at this time and will avoid it in the future.

Al entrar en el restaurante, fui completamente ignorado por el camarero mientras otros clientes eran atendidos antes que yo. Este tipo de servicio al cliente es inaceptable y deja una impresión negativa.

Me acerqué al camarero sobre la preferencia dada a los otros comensales que vinieron después de nosotros, nos hizo un gesto con la mano y fuimos ignorados. Para que se entienda íbamos vestidos adecuadamente y no en traje de playa ni nada por el estilo. Como cliente que paga deberías sentirte bienvenido y apreciado, pero desgraciadamente no fue así en este caso. Es lamentable que un restaurante que tiene una ubicación tan hermosa en la playa tenga tales deficiencias en el servicio al cliente. Espero sinceramente que el Restaurante Canyamel mejore su calidad de servicio y se asegure de que todos los clientes sean tratados con igualdad y amabilidad.

Basándome en esta experiencia, no puedo recomendar el Restaurante Canyamel en este momento y lo evitaré...

Two evenings in a row we were kicked out of the place by a patron who deliberately started to stack chairs and tables around us, putting extra care into being as noisy and showing his irritation about us being there. He had just taken our orders and served us a few minutes before. If you want to close for the night, that's okay - just tell people and do not serve them beverages they have to gulp down in seconds. On our second evening there, the bill was banged down on our table with an index finger insistingly tapping on it, but no friendly word. Every single time I go to this Chiringuito for lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks the service is impeccable and the team are so friendly! They are usually very busy but seem to be really happy to be there. More recently I asked for a coffee with sin lactosa milk after my lunch and then waiter told me they do not offer this but he had his personal sin lactosa milk at work with him and made me a coffee with his milk!!! That is going above and beyond the call of duty! Even though it is not the prettiest Chiringuito aesthetically it is definitely worth a visit for a nice relaxed experienced where you are sure to be taken...
