We stopped by here with our 3 children early evening after reading good reviews. We entered the empty restaurant and were asked if we had a reservation, we said we didnt so the waitress checked with the manager then said they only had a table outside, it was november and we had young children with us so we said no thanks at which point there was another discussion and we were offered a table inside by the door. We sat down and I asked the waiteress what time the table was booked for later to be told it wasn't booked??!! Shortly after a table of 6 adults walked in, they were asked if they had booked, said they had not and were immediately offered a table inside. So it appears that us having children had made us unwelcome. Nice. The food was actually quite good, high quality ingredients and a good choice on the menu although the pizza dough was either missing the yeast or left over from yesterday. The waitress tried to be a bit more friendly for the short time that we stayed but they started clearing plates while some of us were still eating, a major fail. We were being rushed out to make way for the next money spenders by poorly trained, edging towards pretentious staff, led by a manager who has a lot to learn about...

We were recommended the restaurant and were looking forward to Italian food! We booked a table for 9:30 PM, but had to wait outside for half an hour in the cold. Two of the pastas we ordered was okay, but the ravioli tasted like bad meat with ketchup, and the sauce of the truffle pasta tasted so bad we had to send it back. And I have never sent back a meal before. The portions were small, and we didn’t feel full after. In replacement for the truffle pasta we ordered a pizza. The pizza was raw, and so wet that it was almost inedible. We didn’t want to complain anymore, so we just payed and left. It’s a shame, but we had a bad experience, and we really wanted to like this place. One of the waiters was...

You can taste very delicious Italian food here. A local advised us to visit this place in particular, we weren't disappointed. The two pizzas we had were: prosciutto and capricciosa. Both nice freshly homemade dough, that's what they stand for. I haven't had a pizza like this in a long while. Reminds me of the flavors of Italy. The place was loaded with people because of festivities in town, but they placed us at the bar, and that was fine. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful although they had there hands full. We were not rushed to finish our food fast but checked in on us regularly. All in all a nice experience that I would recommend others looking...

The food was good, especially their panna cotta. However, the service completely messed up at the end of lunch. They gave us back a banknote that had been marked with large letters in black marker. We asked them to change it, because by law, certain marks make a note unacceptable, even in banks. They insisted it wasn’t a big deal and said that since they accepted it, other shops would too. Only after we insisted did they finally replace it, but afterward, they didn’t even say goodbye or acknowledge us when we thanked them for the lunch. Honestly, it was a shame…

A lovely restaurant with friendly attentive service and delicious food - the pizzas had amazing bases and unusual toppings. We tried the special pizza with artichoke cream instead of a tomato base which my husband loved as he gets fed up of all the tomatoes in Italian cooking! Veggie and Diablo pizzas were very tasty and my son said the spaghetti bolignaise was fab. We finished with ice cream and some amazing chocolate salami presented beautifully like a real salami. Don't miss this restaurant if you are staying in the area!

Gran Torino is AMAZING! Our food was fresh and delicious. You can really tell that they put a lot of love into what they do. Our server was very sweet and always made sure we had everything we needed. Be sure to make a reservation online. The website they use is simple and they had our table ready for us when we got there! Would 100% recommend the sangria paired with the diavola pizza!! Best Italian we have had this trip.
