Awful experience. This was our first meal out on our weeks stay. We looked at the menu and saw that they had lobster, when we sat down to order this was not on the menu on the table. So we went for steak, it came with lettuce and a small bit of tomato, and a huge lime which we found really odd My steak was full of fat so I requested they take it off the bill. The waitress said she would and offered an alternative but as I'd eaten the bread (which we thought was complimentary) I couldn't have eaten another full meal, so accepted the free coffee on the house as an apology. The bill came and they had charged my partner for his coffee which I thought would be complimentary also, when I queried this and asked to speak to a manager, the waitress brought over a lady who spoke no English and she had to interpret the whole conversation. The manager told her in Spanish that they cannot control how the meat comes to them therefore it's not their problem!!! She then walked off leaving the young girl to handle the situation. She didn't know what to do and just said that she didn't have to offer us the free coffee, this was obviously what her manager had told her to say I was so annoyed I just paid what I thought was fair and left.. Embarrassing. We ordered 3 hamburgers, well done. The waiter came out with 3 raw burgers, so raw that blood was sipping out of them. “Luckily” the bread was so dry it sucked up all the nasty juices... We gave them notice about the mistake. The waiter took the plates and came back 5 min later, only now with really burned burger meat . They didn’t grill new burgers, they grilled the old ones with the earlier placed ketchup and mayo. No one got their own burger back, because they mixed them up. Two other order chicken paella, but received seafood paella. We told the waiter, and he pointed at the paella and said that it had some chicken in there mixed with all the mussels and shrimps. Still we could not see any. We told him that we clearly ordered chicken paella, and we don’t eat seafood. The waiter went back to the kitchen, but we wouldn’t wait 20 more minutes for another paella. Fuimos a cenar tres parejas el sábado 14 de junio. Hablamos con una camarera para pedir mesa, muy amablemente nos dijeron que habría que esperar media hora, pero en 10 minutos ya la tenían lista. La atención por parte de las camareras fue, en general, muy amable. Una vez sentados, pedimos las bebidas, entrantes, platos… Toda la comida estaba pedida antes de que vinieran los cubiertos. Este detalle es importante porque no pedimos después del problema, por lo que no había nada de intención en que nos invitaran a nada.

Dicho esto, comienza el problema, nos sirven las patatas bravas y el pan que habíamos pedido, y en ese momento pedimos los cubiertos, que se les habían olvidado (algo comprensible, sin mayor importancia). Al traernos los cubiertos, los trajeron dentro del sobre con la servilleta, y al colocarlos sobre la mesa, empezaron a salir pequeñas cucarachas de uno de ellos. La camarera no se sorprendió, como si no fuese algo inesperado. Le pedimos que cambiara los cubiertos y lo hizo, pero nos trajo otros exactamente igual, dentro del sobre y de nuevo al ponerlos sobre la mesa, salieron más cucarachas, cayéndose en el vestido de una de las chicas de las que estábamos y algunas corriendo por la mesa.

A pesar del asco que esto nos puede dar, actuamos con mucha comprensión. Con cierto repelús, seguimos con la cena. Una de las parejas directamente no pudo comer por la tirria que le dan las cucarachas. En resumen, no disfrutamos la cena. Ya teníamos las cucarachas metidas en la cabeza.

Cuando llega el momento de la cuenta, vale la pena aclarar que ya habíamos pedido antes de que trajeran los cubiertos, por eso repito no hubo ninguna intención de condicionar el precio de la comanda. Al recibir la cuenta, le preguntamos al camarero si, dado que nadie se había disculpado en ningún momento, podrían tener algún detalle con nosotros. Su respuesta fue ofrecernos un chupito y decirnos que no podían hacer nada más.

Un poco después, mientras hablábamos con otra camarera que traía el datáfono, aparece la encargada. Ese habría sido el momento oportuno para saludar, disculparse, y agradecer que no montáramos un espectáculo, como habría hecho seguramente más del 80 % de la gente en esta situación. Pero no, se llevó la cuenta de malas maneras, sin mediar palabra. Nos quitó de la cuenta las bebidas, el pan y las aceitunas, y la volvió a traer con la mismas maneras y sin mediar palabra. Como si la culpa de la situación fuese nuestra.

Escribo esta reseña por las pésimas formas de la encargada. Si eres la responsable del local y estás de cara al público, no puedes delegar en tus camareros todo y mucho menos tratar a los clientes así. De las cucarachas que cada uno saque sus conclusiones, es una...
