Ananda Beach House — Restaurant in Castelldefels

With a 4.4-star rating on Google at the time, we expected a better experience. The menu offers some appealing dishes, and overall, the food was satisfactory. The 4-cheese pizza was excellent, and the nachos were just okay, though the low-quality cheese sauce was disappointing. The kids' burger came without a bun, just a meat patty with chips and pasta Bolognese, which was quite unusual.

Unfortunately, our overall experience left much to be desired. The waitstaff were far from welcoming—no smiles, no greetings, no thank yous. Instead, we were met with grumpy responses whenever we asked for something. They should really start living up to their motto, “smile, you're in the beach house.”

After waiting 15 minutes to order food, the waiter responded to our request to order with a curt “what?”. I’m giving it a 3/5 solely based on the poor service. It’s worth noting that the service at tables occupied by local Spanish patrons seemed noticeably better. Two tables that sat down after us received their meals before we did, plus a table already sitting received additional attention when we were waiting, leading us to wonder if they prefer to serve locals over tourists.

We travelled from Platja de Gava to Adanda Beach House and it was worth the taxi journey! 2 adults and 2 kids, we ordered the Proscuito pizza, a veggie pizza for my wife (!), the Americana burger and the chicken burger. Food was so good - very filling; pizzas and burgers were massive! Yaiza, our waitress, was amazing; we called ahead and she booked us in, when we arrived she kindly charged my phone for me and was on hand straight away for drinks and food. From arriving at the restaurant, ordering, food arriving, to paying the bill, everything was perfect - for those travelling with kids - you’ll appreciate that! Thanks, Yaiza. The food was amzing and I definnetly reccomend the fries. We sat in the outside area and we had a beautiful vieuw of the beach. One thing that did vother me das that some people where dokgn some kind of fotoshoot/advertisement with the food. While we ordered before them they got their food before us and they got a lot of food so that wasn’t very nice also they stood infront of the vieuw and they stood on their chairs. The restaurant staff deffinetly knew it and they where helping with the lightning instead of serving people. Exept for this was the restearant amazing...
