Castelldefels beach is a very wide and long sandy beach. In the surrounding area, you can find sunbeds for hire, shower cabins, and establishments where you can purchase food and drinks. The beach is clean and usually calm before noon, even during the season. The sea is clean with a very pleasant temperature. There are many lifeguards stationed along the beach, which provides a sense of security. On windy days, the sea can be wavy, and unfortunately, during this period, there are many jellyfish. I recommend not swimming at such times. Overall, it is quieter compared to other beaches in Barcelona. You can reach a nearby area of the beach by bus from anywhere in Barcelona. Additionally, you can rent bicycles from the main street right in front of the beach and easily explore the area. To summarise, it is a beautiful beach where you can have an enjoyable time; I...

A beautiful beach recommended by the hotel receptionist. It’s very clean and the water is not cold… very refreshing. It very good for swimming or wading as it’s shallow pretty far out before it gets deeper and the waves are small.

It’s a 15/30 minute drive/taxi ride from town or 30-60 minute bus/train ride, but worth the trip. Way better than the beach in town and much safer (I never felt unsafe). It’s was not very busy on the weekday I was there.

There is a water park area in the canal which looked fun, but I didn’t try it.

I didn’t drive/park, but there’s a parking area right behind the beach. It seemed like plenty parking on a weekday, but maybe not so much on a busy day or weekend. I’m not sure if you have to pay, but I would expect to.

The beach has a special, shaded area for the disabled and a nice wooden walkway to access. I saw quite a few...

This beach is absolutely stunning. Sand is sand I did not stump my toe on a single rock or stone on the beach or in the ocean. There was no litter and nothing that looks out of place. It's a looong beach so plenty of space if you want to find a quiet spot. There are bars/restaurants every now and again. You can rent loungers. Glad we found this place instead of the ones next to Barcelona city centre. This looks like a wonderful place to stay for a holiday if you want a relaxed break. It's on...
