S'aguait — Restaurant in Ciutadella

Actually the food our group of 3 adults and 2 children got and ate was good. Especially the main of my husband which included clams, prawns and monkfish a large portion for a very good price. However I also ordered the 2 course menu for 35 eur with seafood platter and caldereta as a main...my husband received his main course and he nearly finished, I didn't receive my first course yet. This is when I told one of the waiters he shall stop the order for my menu as my kids were very tired already and everyone else had finished the food. No complaint from this waiter. However about 7 min after the head waiter comes rushed with the seafood platter and I tell him again it's too late now as we need to leave for the kids and everyone is finished already. He starts screaming that we shall leave that he has to throw the food away now. I was so shocked. This has never happend to me in my life. No empathy for families with kids here. No manners, no client is king approach here. In the end I am sorry about the food as I would have loved to eat it, but this way of talking to clients is a no go. It is not our fault that they cannot coordinate the orders properly. One of the waiters at least said he is sorry for that I give 3 stars and also left a tip. As again the...

Excellent restaurant situated in the market area next to the fish sellers. Obviously they specialise in fish but there are other options available. We all had paella which were excellent. Be aware that they cook food to order, so don't expect things to arrive at your table within minutes. Very popular with the locals, which is always a good sign for the traveller. Happy to recommend to it everyone, but especially if you like to go a little "off piste"...

I did not tried to buy my own fish for them to cooked (was 9pm and already closed, as expected) and order a salad and a glass of wine. Food was regular (not bad not incredible) but there was few things: service was not really good, no wifi, no credit card and any warning before ordering the bill. Definetly recomend better the one beside (el granaino) or the back...
