We were three friends waiting for 15 minutes while there was an empty table sitting right there, the server is very condescending and kept on calling us « chicos », (we are a group of 19-20 year olds who had been supportively been called chicos before at restaurants but it sounded more condescending). Another, larger group of young adults arrived and were instantly seated at that table, while we were left standing and waiting. We were put on a tiny table for two when we were three, the other group got their table (originally assigned to us), menu and drinks before we even were seated. Additionally, we told the server we wanted to order immediately when we were seated, hoping this would let us get her attention to order and speed up the process. It didn’t. We had a meal with friends here last night after eating at another restaurant in previous years that the owners used to work at, and hearing that they had opened this restaurant. Great little decor and atmosphere, attention to detail and exquisite food. I had the Squid with chilli and egg for starter, all was cooked perfectly, the squid was the perfect texture and great flavour combinations. My main was the Menorcan rice with sobrasada, cuttle fish and prawn, again it was all cooked to perfection and if my stomach had more room I would have ordered another one and eaten it all again as it was so tasty. Well done on your new place, we cannot wait to eat there again....
