We came here because the reviews were good but the food was the worst we ate in menorca. The salad was the worst salad I had in general outside in a restaurant with just two cheap tomatoes chopped big and lettuce and it costed 12 euro. The fried food was like the oil was used for several dishes one after the other. The manager doesnt know anything about costumer service too. We followed a waiter after 30 minutes que for a bad table inside and we asked to sit outside but the woman was super rude and was insisting that she cant do that otherwise we can go have a fight with the rest of the people waiting back in the line. How a manager can state she has no control over sitting us outdoors ? The waiters were all not knowing what they are doing and asking for this woman to take decisions who appreciates only middle age people because under her own perception younger adults dont deserve a service. She was ready to punch us for asking to sit outside while we havent even ordered anything or received any menu for 10 minutes inside as everyone was serving only the outside tables. Her belief was that if we want to go all the way back to the line we can but she cant give us another table before she gives to everyone else or that its our decision to fight to get in the line back in the spot we were . According to her we are not costumers even if we waited 30 min and followed a waiter that on purpose tried to sit us inside and we cant ask for something different than what she...
Read moreThis restaurant is a real gem. In my humble opinion, they have the very best interpretation of spanish tapas at all in Ciutadella. The product quality - especially for fish and seafood - is excellent. There ist only one important thing to know: The portions of all the dishes are much bigger and more "filling" than the ususal tapas you know from spanish restaurants. This means: If you are used to order 4-5 tapas per person, you might get a bit overwhelmed bei the quantity and versatility of these tapas. This is underlined by the sheer speed in which the kitchen delivers the meal. We ordered 5 tapas per person and where somewhat overwhelmed: All the food came within about 15 minutes at the same time (it was our fault: the waitress "warned" us that we might have ordered a bit too much), thus we had a huuuge amount of food and did not know where to start.
This was in so far a pity because we were not able do savour the very high quality; we "had to eat" quick in order that the fould would not get cold. Our fault, I say it again.
So my recommendation is: Just order 2 things per person, enjoy it - and then order a second and/or third round after having finished the first. The quality is impeccable and so you can much more savour it.
Not to forget: The cocktails (e.g. Negroni) are excellent. Well tempered, good quality of ingredients, very good quality of ice cubes).
Last, but not least: Service is...

After checking the high reviews me and my girlfriend decided to give it a try and joined the queue outside the place. 30 minutes passed by and a waitress approached us asking to follow her inside , offering us a table. We then asked to be seated outside and we were neglected the request !! The blonde woman manager came over, rude as a cow, and told me to either stay inside or join the queue again and wait again!
Full of anger but hungry we decided to eat inside, ordered a €12 euro salad that had one mozzarella, One tomato and some salad leafs . No dressing on . Everything else was mediocre. Toilet area next to kitchen and beers kept near the entrance making it awful and unhygienic . Super mediocre food and beyond belief bad customer service. Don’t let the high review mislead you. There are plenty of other tapas places around the area where the food is worth your...
