El Redolí. Restaurante. — Restaurant in Dénia

Lovely spot in the heart of Dénia! The food is terrific, especially the manitas, the albóndigas, an the calamar. And the prices are quite reasonable for the location. But what really made this place special was the excellent and attentive service. We visited in the middle of August on a brutally hot/humid day with our neighbors and their dog in tow. Ordinarily in Spain, we choose to sit outside on a terraza, but we really needed a respite from the heat. El Redolí allowed us to come inside their charming, air-conditioned space with the dog, and proceeded to provide first-class service. Unlike most spots, they stay open in the late afternoon (between lunch and dinner), which was another big plus for us (we didn’t arrive until 3:30, when most spots have closed their kitchens until dinner). BTW, they made sure the dog was well-behaved before seating us, so no need to worry about dining among unruly canines…! This place is definitely worth a stop when you...

I rarely write reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to warrant one. The waitress was extremely rude from the start — dismissive, impatient, and made us feel like we were a bother just for being there. It really set a negative tone for the whole evening.

As for the food, it was honestly just meh. Nothing special, underwhelming flavors, and certainly not worth the price. Between the poor service and the lackluster food, I can’t say I’d recommend this...

Soy vasca, es la segunda vez que vengo en la misma fecha y esta vez me voy bastante descontenta con la comida y con el ambiente que han permitido en el restaurante. Me han ubicado al lado de una mesa de doce chicas mayorcitas que se comportaban peor que si estuviesen en un parque de atracciones, dando gritos y generando malestar a todos los que intentábamos comer tranquilamente. Una camarera estaba afónica y apenas podía escucharla del jaleo que estaban creando pero ninguno de los empleados ha sido capaz de decirles que bajen el tono de gritos. Agradezco la atención del camarero y que me haya cambiado de lugar sin yo decir nada, supongo que mi cara era un poema. Con respecto a la comida es bastante justa, yo por ejemplo me he quedado con hambre y el precio del menú no incluye bebida ni IVA, por los 16€(4 croquetas insípidas que no son caseras, la mitad de una dorada enana con 4 patatas y un trozo de tarta de manzana sin sabor con una Coca Cola) que he pagado y que es lo que vale un menú en cualquier parte, estoy segura que habría comido mejor y más a gusto en cualquier otro lugar, el año pasado me hicieron la fideuá que hay de opción en el menú y este año gracias a la reserva de las ruidosas de al lado no, desde que me he sentado y me han negado la fideuá me ha parecido casi todo lamentable y viendo el ambiente era obvio que la situación iba a ir a peor, no me tenía que haber quedado ,sinceramente no...
