Hi, fellow traveler!
How are you? How was your day? I still drive the train of Consciousness, and it occurred to me to stop there on several times. I have already been there several times a few years ago, and the experience is always fantastic.
The quality of the desserts in relation to the price and the service seems reasonable to me, a luxury that from time to time you have to allow yourself. The chocolate cake and the classic hot chocolate with churros is delicious. The ice cream is very wonderful too. There is a wide variety of desserts and offers for children, toasts, coffees, juices and offers for breakfast.
The waiters are always very attentive and kind to me, they work exquisitely well, they are fast and helpful, and they always remain aware of the customers' needs.
Enjoying a good chocolate in front of the sea is priceless, at least for me. The views and the sea breeze is simply spectacular. The little birds are very cute and are always looking for crumbs on the floor and on the chairs.
The objection that I see is that the toilet is on the first floor, which can be a difficulty and a problem for people with reduced mobility, as was my case for a long time.
The difficulty is that in high season or when the weather is good it is difficult to park, but if you set your mind to it, you will eventually find your place. Everything is to go thinking about chocolate. The same to find a table. I always find a table for myself. Infinite thanks to the "Valor" Chocolatiers.
With love,
Ebael...
Read moreMy family has been visiting this Valor for 18 years. This morning we went there expecting the same courteous service that we have enjoyed all those years but the staff is all new and very unprofessional. To begin, the server dropped a whole glass of orange juice on my daughter and apologized but did a terrible job cleaning the table, left a pond of orange juice on the floor and did not ask us if we wanted to move, which we did on our own. The manager never came by to see if his staff had cleaned things properly and if all was taken care of. Later I went inside to pay the bill and speak with the manager and he tells me that it was 'just a few drops of juice'. Then the manager took it to the next level of rude and said that I should bring him the bill for the laundry. I asked for the complaints book (libro de reclamaciones) which he brought out along with a pen that he tossed in my direction - ouch. Unfortunately this old family favorite is now crossed...
Read moreThis morning Wednesday 7th May 2025 at 8.35am I visited Valor in El Campello, I have visited this establishment many times over the years it has been open. My experience is disturbing as I waited 15 mins for someone to attend to me, I then knocked on the window, still no body came to serve me. I cannot walk up stairs due to my knee problems. I waited and waited, in the end I left at 8.55 am very annoyed without anyone attending to me. I have been told this has happened to a few of my friends, staff at Valor seem to be reluctant to serve outside early in the morning. Could you kindly look into this for me and let me know the reasons, thank you, Youirs...
