A well-known franchise for filling yet relatively cheap food. Today we enjoyed a Caesar salad (take care - the tiny croutons are like little hard bullets), chicken strips with crisps and piri piri chicken wings & chips. We were surprised at the large portions. I asked for two small beers but either my Spanish was misunderstood or they only do quite large tankards. The beer was ice cold and delicious but too large a quantity. The young lady who served me was very helpful and patient. I should mention that we were incorrectly given a BBQ sauce but easily exchanged it for a piri piri sauce, which was not at all hot so rather disappointing on that score. This is a great concept chain cafeteria. The idea is they do cheap coffee and beer and 100 cheap snacks. And they do special offers on different days. And for a change in Spain it is counter service. So you can pay and sit down and leave when you have finished without waiting for the bill! If you look around there is an English menu and if you want to make life even easier then you can just order using printed slips. Drinks are handed over immediately. Part of country wide chain. Base product is 100 difftent small sandwiches (montaditos). The selection can be daughting, but fun. Cheapish drinks, especially yhe buckets of bottle beer. Good range of snack and more substancial food, such as plates of prawns. Two days a wek is Euromania days, almost everything on menu is 1€. Breakfast is very good, value and taste.
