El Tapeo — Restaurant in el Campello

The worst service I have ever experienced anywhere in the world....very rude from entering the restaurant and taking of or order...4 of us were dining with all 4 dishes being brought out and virtually thrown on the table over a period of half an hour. My sons pasta was stone cold my fish was under cooked and like rubber. My wife had a salad and my daughter had a pizza which were ok. When asked for a bill our lovely waitress threw it on the table without even looking...begrudgingly I paid because we don't really complain but probably should have made an exception today..first time I haven't tipped for a meal. What a really awful meal! 6 people had pizza and they were inedible. You couldn't cut them even though they were thin. I think that they had been cooked in a microwave as they were doughy. 3 people ordered the "big ben" which didn't mention tuna in the description but was full of tuna. I had a ham and cheese toasted sandwich which came with chips which were cold and this came out 20 minutes before the first pizza appeared and the about 10 minutes wait between each pizza. My sandwich was what I would describe as "plastic ham and cheese" . Will definitely not be returning. Would definitely...

Updated🔆after first lunch visit we went for dinner and it was ok but not as good as during lunch. The restaurant is nice and they have good tapas but not extra. staff is polite but during dinner we had to flag them down for anything and wait, actually could have ordered more but was a bit of a hassle. During lunch the service was quicker. They have a nice view of the sea. For lunch we where 4 people and we shared 4 plates which was enough for us with drinks and coffee was 63€. At dinner 6 people was 176€ food+drinks, a bit pricy for the quality. Still recommended but can be...
