Restaurante Miramar — Restaurant in el Campello

We actually didn't get a chance to eat/drink here,we sat at a table then waited for 10 minutes ,(the place wasn't that busy at 2pm), the waiter brought a menu, laid it on table without saying anything, 5 minutes later a family (looked and sounded Spanish) sat down at next table,the waiter was immediately at their table with menu's then table mats,(no interaction between waiter and guests) after another 3 minutes we left . Think you must be a local to get any attention here,or be left wondering if your ever going to get served,.disappointed at service/waiters,. We won't be going there again, we love El Campello, just not here ,. Place (while we didn't notice at first) looked very grubby including waiters . We found a much better family owned cafe /bar near supermarket on C.Sant Bartomeu, promt and polite service ,tasty food...

Awful. One of the female waitresses working there has got a miserable face. She looks extremely fed up and this is not great for the business. The attitude from the staff is rather rude. The wait is long. The options for dessert are null (only ice cream) with the set menu (menu del dia). Drinks aren't included. The paella mixta was OK. I burned myself as it was too hot. The 'ensaladilla rusa' first course was very little portion. The waitress brought me a bill I didn't ask for. When I looked at the bill it said €75!!!! I asked her to bring me the right bill so she brought a new one for €50!!!! The third time she brought the right bill for €13.90. Definitely I won't come back anymore. We left the restaurant after not receiving any food for about 40 minutes. Drinks arrived - the mojito was bland and the water was... water. We noticed that the only other table that was occupied sent dishes back becase they were wrong. 20 minutes in a waitress came back and asked if we were done. We hadn't received any food items yet. 40 minutes in I asked if food was coming, and she went back in the kitchen, coming back to 'confirm' our order as if she wasn't sure.
