Gastrobar Rock Café — Restaurant in El Puerto de Santa María

EDIT: revising score after owner explained the situation and how it was out of their control

Would love to give it a higher score. Unfortunately, service was very approximate. 2 servers for maybe 8 occupied tables, and orders took forever to come out. Asked for a drink, and had to remind ournserver 20 minutes later.

The bar is well situated, has a great terrasse and the inside looks nice. The menu is standard fare, decently priced.

My only issue was the service. Even getting our bill was an adventure in tracking it down.

A 5 fork! Peta-excellent! International&Spanish food (meat, burgers, morcillas, salchichas), well presented and excellent quality (not fish here, is not for 'pescaito frito' here). A mix of an English-German pub but modern decoration. Great beer spectrum. Bar, inside or terrace. Music from the 60' until 90' goes with yor meal. Finally a burger with real flavor!

I enjoy a good burger, but it's unfortunately hard to find one in Spain. But I did here! At Gastrobar Rock Café, they season the burger while cooking – they don’t just rely on loads of sauces to add flavor. And you can really taste the difference! Unlike many other places where the burger tastes bland, this one had proper flavor. I went for the spicy option and was super happy with it.
