This place was recommended to me by a friend at work. In Spain it is hard to find restaurants that open for breakfast early but this place has great house. It’s very unassuming from the outside and you could walk right past it if you didn’t know what you were looking for. The view is amazing (Puerto castle in the back drop if you sit outside) The menu is very robust with a variety of things to choose from and it’s both Spanish/English which is super convenient. And the prices are very reasonable. I got a cafe con leche which was fantastic. Little known local fact: the jams are all made from scratch and are delicious! I usually do t like condiments on my food but it did not disappoint! The breakfast sandwich was great. My server gave great service and was dealing with 7 other tables at the same time but never was rude. The only thing I would recommend would be to add another server for the amount of tables there are so customers don’t have to wait to place orders or get their check. Other than that; perfecto!

Best iced cafe con leche in town!! The breakfast was fabulous- in 2 weeks we went no less than 5 times. The coffee that they serve is from a beanery outside of Jerez that doesn’t sell commercially- so we were very excited we found something so delicious but sad we couldn’t buy any beans from La Chicha Yeyé themselves (or at the store). Recommend this place to anyone who visits the area!! The seating outside is perfect too - right under some pomegranate trees and next to an ancient castle!

We are always seeking good vegetarian food on our travels - choosing is made easy when helpful staff like at La Chica are so professional and eager to help. We chose a salmon brioche with avo and egg - so fresh and tasty that we came back to have the same again for dinner In the shadow of the castle walls the setting is perfect - inside was clean and welcoming
