Tacoa — Restaurant in El Sauzal

I was there twice, in both the situations I tried their beers...or Just sourness and infection. Happens sometimes to find that but in this case 3 beers on 5 tasted were absolutely not "fit". In the second time I visited their brewpub I saw the cleanings operations and I realized why I found those problems in my glass. It's a big hall in front of the main door with a large bar in front of it. I was astonished because the barman wasabout avoided in beers' cultures. It's a pity to serve an infected beer and, After a motivation of it, I see it on my ticket anyway. It's a shame that one of the first character of the craft beer movement in Canary Island used to act in this way to customers. I'm so Sorry about 2 stars but it's what I found out After 2 visits in 2 different years. Good luck...

Took a trip here after spending the day in Loro Parque and was really glad we made the effort to get here as it took us away from the direction we were supposed to go to return to Los Gigantes.

The restaurant is really good, nice dining room, nice bar, a couple of tables by the door and a big terrace out back. They even have a play room!

The food was excellent, heavy German influence on the menu - perfect for their beers! The plum-stuffed pork is a real highlight. As a craft brewery, they really take pride in their products and rightfully so. I even bought a few to take back to my hotel to enjoy.

Se hace difícil a un madrileño encontrar sitios donde tomar una cerveza al gusto de caña, bien tirada, con marcas en el vaso por cada sorbo tomado; temperatura adecuada y ya no digo que si uno se siente caprichoso porque le gustan las cervezas artesanas. No lo digo por ser de Madrid y no tener en consideración a otros que les preocupa más que el vaso esté lleno hasta el borde de cerveza a que tenga dos dedos de espuma, para eso hay colores de todos los gustos. ¿te gusta así? pues bien, ¿te gusta con más protocolos? Pues formo parte de esos. Me recomendó el sitio una lugareña y los comentarios no eran muy favorables, es un sitio que no van a encontrar otras personas que no sean tinerfeños del norte, todo hay que decirlo. Pedimos hamburguesas wagyu y unas cervezas artesanas, una surf y una básica; muy buenas ambas, un sabor acertado y me hubiese gustado probar algunas más y llevármelas, pero mezclar maletas con botellas, no suele salir bien, pero es que tampoco te dejan llevarlo encima!. Resumamos pues: cerveza muy bien tratada, bien explorada, las que probé muy buenas, no sé del resto pero apuntas maneras. Ambiente, el de mañana, muy apetecible incluso algo fresco cuando sopla el aire. Precio moderado pero acorde a la calidad recibida. Siento no poder ir más veces, porque para los de la península no nos es tan fácil llegar y alojarnos (aprovecho para reivindicar que los primeros seamos los residentes, sean de la penínula, de Canarias o de Mallorca...), pero como digo, serían de esos sitios que iría a catas por día de cerveza...
