We were visiting a friend who has lived in Elda for most of his life and told us this restaurant existed when he was a child. But it is now under new ownership - a Ukranian family - and the current incarnation is truly wonderful. The outdoor seating is on a quiet street across the street from a plaza where kids can play while waiting for food to arrive. There are four set menus and many options for a la carte salads, pizzas, and pasta dishes. My wife and I had a pizza and salad and out kids had spaghetti bolognese. We had spent an hour walking around looking for a place that was open and could seat us, and everyone was in a bad mood.
