We visited this restaurant as a tourist family coming from the UK, with three children — one of whom has autism. As adults, we selected a variety of dishes to try, and for the children, we ordered fries and pizza. Our daughter, who is very selective with food, was genuinely happy to be able to choose a few items on her own to try.
Unfortunately, once we sat down, the manager approached us in a very rude manner, ordering us to limit the amount of food we were selecting and insisting that we must finish everything on our plates. His attitude was extremely embarrassing and humiliating for us.
My husband tried to explain to him in English that we were there to enjoy our meal and, of course, to pay for what we ordered — and that he had no right to tell us what to eat or what to do with the food. However, the manager didn’t understand English and was unwilling to listen or find a solution. We asked if someone who speaks English could come to help translate, but instead, he became even more angry and began blaming the staff for not monitoring customers at the buffet.
We paid €95 for our meal. Our children ate, except for the fries, which were hard like plastic, and the pizza, which was completely cold. I ate sushi and salad, and my husband chose a seafood mix. The fact that the children didn’t finish their fries upset him a lot.
Honestly, this was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. I do not recommend it to anyone. It doesn’t deserve even one star. The manager was shockingly rude and...
Read moreIt's a good buffet with a good selection of food choices, though they don't seem to offer much variation over time. Benefit, is that you know what you'll get. Down side, is you'll know what you'll get!
Price ihas increased substantially over years and now a soft drink is 2.60€ which makes it an expensive meal imho.
There was a very young girl working there on our last couple of visits, clearly the daughter helping out over the holidays. Not particularly friendly, and a bit shabby. We'll let her off a bit, as she was probably only 14 (but being extremely generous with her age). Although, her mother could tell her to tidy herself up, like she would 100% do to an actual employee! Other staff are all very well mannered and offer a great service btw.
We are quite regular punters here, but the more often I go here, the more I don't like the idea of the open buffet. Having seen people pick up, then replace food items and with some very young children helping themselves, a trip always followed with lots of toilet visits, I'm leaning more and more towards buffet options at table service restaurants.
But parking here is excellent and the price is not bad, although it has increased recently.
Worth a visit if you ignore all...
