GINOS — Restaurant in Elx / Elche

Es triste venir de visita a España con familia, hablarles bien de un lugar pensando que comeremos “bien” y la atención sea una COMPLETA DECEPCIÓN!!! Honestamente nunca había vivido una experiencia así. No sé si tuvimos mala suerte o si siempre es así, pero sentimos un mal servicio por parte de una camarera llamada Evelyn. Podría extenderme y detallar cada cosa de cómo nos sentimos atendidos por ella pero creo que todo se puede resumir con una palabra SOBERBIA. No sé si sentí más pena por mis suegros que estaban viviendo el carácter de esta camarera o por entrar a comer al restaurante y sentir como si estuviéramos molestando por pedir un servicio que estamos pagando. Cuando llegó nuestro entrante pedí un pan y me dijeron que tardaría un poco en salir, aún así acepté esperar… pues el pan NUNCA LLEGÓ! Y ni siquiera tuvieron el detalle de decir que no lo traería o que se les olvidó o lo que sea. En serio que hay MUUUCHOOOO que decir, pero el resto me lo reservo para contarlo a las personas que me pidan referencias de este restaurante y que ellos mismos decidan por si solos si vale la pena comer en un lugar que te atiendan de esta forma.

De todo esto solo puedo decir que uno una solo cosa buena… hubo otra camarera que se llama Alexandra, pregunté su nombre porque de ella si puedo decir que fue el ejemplo de cómo SIII SE DEBE ATENDER… aunque solo se acercó como dos veces a nuestra mesa, por lo menos fue más amable y cálida con sus palabras y carácter.

Esto que estoy diciendo no lo digo simplemente por ser ruda… lo digo porque yo también he trabajando en el pasado de camarera y porque mi trabajo actual es cara al público también y en mi familia hay camareros con experiencia de más de 20 años y al contar lo que me pasó se quedan sorprendidos.

Cualquier persona se hubiera levantado he ido y aunque en el aljub hay muchos restaurantes a los que hubiera podido ir, ya habíamos pedido y quisimos tener la decencia que no tuvo esta camarera, y no dejarlos con los platos hechos porque sabemos que hubiera sido trabajo perdido.

We ate at this Ginos and it was honestly one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. The food was shockingly bad — completely tasteless, poorly cooked, and felt like zero effort went into it. The pasta tasted like it came straight from a microwave, the sauces had no flavor, and the kids’ menu looked like something thrown together in a hurry. For what they charge, the quality is unacceptable.

We didn’t finish our meals because they were simply not edible. We left hungry and frustrated, wishing we had gone literally anywhere else. I would never return and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about...

Tried twice, and both times were disappointing.

The first time, we were turned away even though they still had over an hour and a half before closing. No explanation, just a cold no.

We gave it another shot. This time we were let in, but only if we sat at the worst table, right in the middle of the walkway. We politely asked for an available spot by the wall, since we were with kids. The response: “This is the only table you can have.”

There were clearly better tables open, but not for us apparently.

If you like being treated with indifference, this is the place for you.

Otherwise, head next door to La Tagliatelle, where they treat you like actual guests and serve...
