Essencia García — Restaurant in Elx / Elche

I visited the cafeteria first time late at night(at least for English standards as it was past 2200), hoping to find something to eat and to my pleasant surprise, food was still served and to make thing seven better, it was so good, beyond my expectations! The gentleman behind the bar, despite being very busy, was always there to help me chose the dishes and made me feel very comfortable, even if I don't speak Spanish at all! The jamon was cut in front of me and the olives were simply divine! The mushrooms with oregano and oil were cooked to perfection and the cheese collection was splendid. The dessert made with coffee was delicious! Next day I visited for lunch and I ordered the pork tenderloin and it was some of the best pork I have ever eaten in my life! So succulent, tender and melting in mouth with each bite. The Spanish croquettes were also very tasty and generally a wholesome experience one more time. The same night I revisited for another plate of solomillo cerdo and it was at the same high standards as at lunch time. Obviously the cook is very experienced and well trained. I would like to thank Bienvenido and his team for making me feel so happy and enjoying that culinary experience in Elche. Nos ha sorprendido gratamente el sitio. Buen producto, bien elaborado, amabilidad, servicio rápido. Cocina a la vista y productos caseros. La barra con su expositor bien surtido y con variedad a elegir. Con un vistazo te apetece pedir un poco de cada cosa para probarlo todo. Hemos pedido unas habitas con jamón como entrada. Exquisitas. El consomé con relleno, con sabor y bien hecho. Zepelines con sabor espectacular. De los de toda la vida. Bacalao con tomate y tortilla de patatas recomendable. Delicioso. La ensalada, en su punto y bien troceada. Mejorable la ensaladilla rusa quizás con algo más de variantes y un poco más de atún para reforzar el sabor. Es mi opinión. Gran Barecito

La raciones de este sitio son bastante buenas y con buena cantidad, eso no se encuentran en todos los bares. La hamburguesa completa esta bastante buena, aunque el huevo enmascara el resto de ingredientes, motivos por los que no me gustan hamburguesas con huevo ;(
