Restaurante Wok Street — Restaurant in Elx / Elche

Although my visit to this restaurant occurred some time ago, I feel compelled to share my experience, as it was nothing short of disappointing. The standout issue was the exceptionally slow service, which left me unable to enjoy a meal before my flight. Despite only five people ahead of me in the queue, a staggering 25 minutes passed without even placing my order.

The service process itself seemed needlessly convoluted. Each customer was handed a paper on which they were expected to meticulously fill out their order. The cashier would then painstakingly explain every line of the form before patiently waiting for the customer to complete it. Only after this process was complete would the order be inputted into the computer system. Furthermore, the kitchen appeared to work on a one-order-at-a-time basis, further prolonging the wait.

Frankly, I found this approach to be both inefficient and frustrating. Why should customers be required to manually fill out a paper order when it could be directly inputted into the computer? The time wasted in waiting for customers to complete this unnecessary step only served to compound the delay.

Ultimately, I made the regrettable decision to abandon the queue, even with just one person remaining in front of me. The experience proved to be a significant waste of time, leaving me disappointed and hungry as I headed to...

If anyone is going to find something wrong it's usually me, but the only thing I can mention is that the take away needs more staff to cope at busy times, not just one poor young lady taking orders and cooking them from scratch. I was fed up of normal airport food so decided to go for the wok restaurant, yes overpriced but a great alternative to breaking your teeth on a baguette or swimming in grease burger. I chose the chicken noodle dish. Tasty, freshly cooked, hot, and loads of it. The young lady was apologetic about the tkme to wait but she was on her own and its freshly cooked. The male staff is so rude, he saw me picking up the fruit and drink before I went to him to order the food, but he decide to disappear for 10 minutes. After waited for a while I decide to leave the fruit and drink at the counter and sit down while waiting for him to come back to take my order.
