If you've been to a Tim Hortons before or don't want to be put off visiting one for life I would avoid this one.
The only thing that appears to be genuine about this Tim Hortons is the sign. There wasn't any food on the menu the same as a single Tim Hortons I've been to.
So the food was unfortunately awful. I went for a cheese and ham crossaint and I've accidentally eaten plastic that has had more taste than the processed meat and cheese that came in it.
I also went for a Choco Brownie donut, which I ordered and specifically stated the donut, even showing the staff member what I meant.
When I opened my bag later I saw I'd been given a chocolate brownie (which I didn't even know they do and wasn't on the display shelf). This tasted like cardboard.
My partner had a panini (which isn't a Tim Hortons menu item either?!) And it was so bad she didn't finish it. It was plastic tasting cheese and the bread was stale.
It also cost an absolute fortune.
It seems like this is a licensed Tim Hortons with no quality control and doing the Tim Hortons brand far more harm than good. Even the coffee wasn't up to the usual awesome taste a TH's has.
As a long time customer I have put in a formal complaint to head office about how terrible this place is, and they never responded.
They have also reported this review to stop it from appearing so I've had to rewrite it...
Read moreI was picking up a friend at the airport. I arrived a lot earlier and my friend who came along was surprised there is a Tim Hortons here. I've never heard of Tim Hortons before, but he did. As someone who has been to Canada many times, he said it's a good coffee place, so we decided to give it a try.
First impression is great. It's clean, spacious, and there are quite a selection of sandwiches, pastries, donuts, muffins ... Etc available. And they all look pretty good.
I ordered two large latte, two sandwiches, and a selection of dessert. There were two ladies behind the counter, and they were not the most friendliest I have to say. They didn't crack a single smile until the very end when one of them did smile a little when I said goodbye.
Anyway, I like the size of their large coffee because coffees in Spain is generally quite small. The bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich was actually quite nice. I think you can request to have your food warm up if need be. The donuts were a little old but it's ok.
All in all, I don't think it's too bad. Most of the reviews complaint about the service, so may be some better, friendlier staffs will make this place better. The food is not fantastic but it's not bad neither. I think it's a good, spacious place to sit either when you are waiting for your flight, or waiting to...
Read moreI first came here when dropping off my sister-in-law at the airport, but unfortunately, they were out of French Vanilla, so I didn't order anything.
On my second visit, they had French Vanilla in stock, which made me very happy since it's their signature drink and the only one I order from Tim Hortons.
This place is clearly popular among travellers. The queue was long, but people were being served quickly. I ordered a turkey and cheese toastie with an iced French Vanilla. For me, it was a 10/10 experience. We have Tim Hortons in Gloucester, but their toasties don't taste as good as this one. The brioche bread here makes all the difference.
Whenever I fly out or return to this airport, I'll make it a point to stop by. Highly recommend if you haven't tried Tim...
