The menus are a nice way to share a bit but enjoy your main dish for yourself. The portions of the starters are quite big, so if you're three people, I'd recommend two share one Menü where all mentioned starters will be served and the third person only orders a main dish and shares the starters with the other two. If that third person is still hungry after the main dish, of course, a desert can be ordered as well.

The atmosphere is lovely, with French music and interior furniture commemorating the 1920s. Located a bit away from the main square, the atmosphere is calmer, especially if you're seated inside.

Concerning our food: the starter of fried eggplant with soy sauce, honey and sesame was delicious - really recommendable. We didn't like the cheese fondu with bacon and tomato too much. Also the Cesar salad with croutons and the egg with bacon (and fries) were not our favourite but ok.

The red tuna with algae and the porc solomillo had a good taste and were nicely prepared. The vegan burger tasted ok: I missed a bit of sauce and would have preferred a vegetable patty instead of tofu - it doesn't tell on the menu - but ok. Unfortunately, only the patty was hot, while bun and tomato were not. :-(

The deserts, Oreo Cheesecake and chocolate brownie, made a good ending! In total, there are things to be improved, things we subjectively would do differently next time, but also things which we really liked. It's up to...

We went back in July 2021 and it's just as great as it was before. Just look at the menu and you'll be amazed! If you don't know what to choose as main course: take the arroz! I posted my 1st review about this restaurant (here below) about a year ag, and 12 months later I must say the restaurant is as good as it was when we discovered it! We’ll be back! ———————————— This place is really great. Firstly, it nicely decorated and looks great from the inside and the outside. Secondly, their dishes are even better than the decoration. Tasty, well balanced and delicious. I had a fantastic first dish with fresh sardines and guacamole. Mmm... And their (vegetarian) rice dish with artichokes and asparagus was at least as good as the first plate. Thirdly, the waitress and waiter we had were as nice as you can have them. Service-minded, o so kind with our 22 months old daughter and joyful. Great to see they work with a smile... Last but not least, in contrast with what the interior would suggest: it's more than affordable! They even serve a 3 course "menu del dia" at €10,90 between 14h and 16h. Amazing! Una auténtica pena. Llevábamos años yendo a este restaurante el día de Reyes y todo había ido bien. Pero el fin de semana pasado fue un auténtico desastre. Nada, absolutamente nada, llegó caliente. Uno de los platos, como un canelón de rabo de vaca, fue lo primero que nos extrañó y nos hizo preguntar a la camarera, “¿es un plato frío?”, a lo que respondió que sí; luego nos dimos cuenta de que no era cierto y que su respuesta sólo pretendía escurrir el marrón. Las croquetas, templadas, ¡ni una caliente! Pero la gota que colmó el vaso fue la presa ibérica y el arroz. Llegó la presa fría, y así lo comunicamos; pasaron el mismo filete por la plancha, con lo que el punto de cocción se fue al garete, más hecho que el carbón. Y el arroz, menudo despropósito; te lo sacan en la paellera con la base para que no se queme nadie ni nada, pero hasta la paellera estaba fría (la podías coger con la mano por abajo sin problema), y el arroz ya, helado. Lo comentamos y la respuesta de la misma camarera de antes fue: “nos falta personal, poned una opinión en Google”. Hubo otra que nos ignoró directamente, y a pesar de que dijimos que no queríamos ese arroz, ahí lo dejaron. Cuando llegó el único camarero simpático, un chico joven que hizo lo que pudo, se extrañó de que estuviera todo el arroz y le comentamos lo sucedido. Él llamó a la encargada, que vino. Ya más de media hora después de lo sucedido y habiendo terminado ya de comer, nos dice que si queremos otro arroz. Le contamos lo que ha pasado con todo y que habíamos solicitado que se lo llevaran; lo esperable es que, al menos, no te cobren ese despropósito de arroz. Ella nos dice que nos invita a unos postres; pedimos uno que conocemos y pedíamos siempre, pero lo que llega se parece poco a lo de otras veces y a lo que ponía en la carta (no decimos nada al ser invitación). Cuando llega la cuenta, nos habían metido ese arroz incomible. Nada fue bien, ni los tiempos de las comidas (sacaron todo apelotonado y frío; y no por mucha gente, no más que en Reyes), ni la temperatura, ni la calidad (la ensaladilla, que era un plato que repetíamos desde hace años, estaba insípida). No nos quiso quitar la paella de la cuenta; nos dijo que nos había quitado los canelones de rabo, que aunque fríos sí nos habíamos comido, y que la paella no por estar manipulada (estaba parcialmente servida, y nos dimos cuenta al ir a probarla - nadie va de entrada a tocar la paellera, te esperas que esté caliente). Más bien era que el arroz era más caro que el canelón. Todo un despropósito, seguido de una hoja de reclamaciones y un sitio al que no volver. Qué pena, con lo que fue en...
