Just reopened and very quiet in Fornells, so the atmosphere was lacking, but this was to be expected. Tried to find a menu online before visiting to see if any of the lobster and shellfish dishes which I absolutely love would be available for one person (partner allergic to some mariscos). Sadly no luck. Everything I craved and had so looked forward to was only for two people. So pescaditos fritos to start. Tasty, but no garnish at all, lemon had to be requested. Mains were monkfish for me and Menorcan lamb chops for partners. Mine…potatoes stone cold, partner … delicious fried potatoes. No condiments on the table or visible to go get myself and waiter had gone away, so no chance. I’m sure that when they hit their stride in the summer months it is wonderful if two of you want the same main course. For me, I can safely say there are restaurants that easily surpass this and I will return to my favourite ones...

Restaurant on the small pedestrian street few lines away from the promenade with a separate bar for locals and their tapas and simple room of 30-35m2 for dining. We booked a table over phone a day before and it was waiting for us. Mainly Spanish visitors that March Sunday. Menu is definitely on fish and mariscos. Lobster is a king with Caldereta at 85€ a person (min 2 asked to order). My choice was a tasty grilled Cap Roig, kid enjoyed Calamar a la andaluza. Plus Scallops under wonderful garlic olive oil sauce with herbs!

Main courses starting 23-25€. Paellas and rice dishes well above 30€ a person… in Mallorca 17-18€, but here is a remote location and logistics have to be paid off too. No kids menu.

Desserts were like 5-6 on choice, we liked one chocolate pastel shared between two of us!

Nice place… but somehow I would love to get lost among...
