With the arrival in April 2015 of the Orchid House, local businesses have started taking advantage of the increased footfall, and here is one example.
A very good, reasonably priced, coffee shop where you can sit outside and look at the Botanical gardens surrounding the Orchid House, and of course the dome itself.
You also look across the gardens at the trompe-l'oeil murals on the blocks opposite. If you turn round and crane your neck, you can also see the ones on the building just above your head!

It has outside & inside seating & is very popular, particularly with regular customers, who it was clear to see, frequently visit. We chose a selection of tapas, at 2 euros a plate. Meat tapas, sausage in wine tapas, meatballs tapas, chicken skewer tapas. All were served with a few fries. They were delicious & extremely good value for money.
