Restaurante La Palma Estepona — Restaurant in Estepona

My wife and I went here for lunch on Saturdsy afternoon. When we went inside the staff told us there was no room inside, so we were offered a table outside which we were happy with. Wy wife ordered Sea Bass and I Grilled Prawns. When the food arrived my prawns were not shelled or cleaned. I tried shelling them myself with no success as they were small and rubbery. The waiter offered to take them away and shell and clean them. When they returned the were chilled but you could see a black line along the bottom of the prawns. I explained I cannot eat this as it will sicken me. He just put his hands up on the air and walked away. I had to leave them. I asked for the Bill.... when it came the Prawns were on it at full price and the Ses Bsss was on it at Euro 38. I asked the Waiter was the price for the Sea Bass correct, he replie, yes.... There was no price on the Menu for this item and also for other fish dishes. So look out... I asked if there was anything he could for me considering I could not eat my food and he just put his arms in the air. This lunch cost me Euro 64.50. Expensive considering no Starter, Desert or Coffee

Comer aquí siempre fue un lugar familiar y de categoría excepcional y digo fue .,mis padres desde pequeña me trajeron semanalmente ya fuese almorzar .,un tapeo o cena .,,era su lugar favorito por su trato y calidad en los productos .,cosa que no ha cambiado .,pero el trato con el cliente mucho y no puedo meter a todos en el saco .,llego pues he quedado ahí para almorzar y pregunto si hay mesa y una chica me dice que ahí mismo ,junto a una ventana y yo accedo a ocupar la mesa ya que vamos almorzar mi familia ,con el detalle de que todas las mesas tenia “un reservado” ..cuál es mi indignación que llega un camarero porque de señor poco y me dice que hago ahí ?!,que me levante qué día no vi que estaba reservado ,que quien me ha dicho que me sentase . a lo cuál contesto que he preguntado y me han dicho que puedo sentarme .,,estupefacta por el trato me levanto y me dice que si es una tapa ,que no hay tapa que si es para comer que me pase frente donde l plaza y le digo que bueno .,..pero que donde ?! ya que esas mesas también están reservadas .,la 13:15 más o menos .,pregunto por Valentín buscando esa calor y me dice que no está …vale .,me voy donde la plaza y vuelve con la misma mala educación …pero tú vas a comer ?!? Perdona …he pedido mesa para almorzar con mis hijos pero mientras llegan póngame un refresco .,algo ….accede al refresco y unas aceitunas y me sienta en un mesa .,abochornada porque no podía estar de otra manera …no me fui porque era nuestro lugar de encuentro familiar de toda una vida y ahí había quedado con mi hijo .,en ese momento se rompía la cadena donde mis padres me inculcaron ese lugar como algo nuestro .,llegaron .,expuse la situación ante dicho individuo una vez comimos porque si no mi hijo monta un pitoste .,ni una disculpa .nada ..”,que pensaba que era que venía a sentarse como tantos que pasan por esa plaza “ usted no tiene vergüenza ni la conoce “.,no tengo yo pintas de ser una sin techo .,pidió mi hijo la cuenta y nunca más ..mi padre con 84 años no pensó jamás que en este lugar cabría acciones como esa .,ahí ha quedado la Palma para nuestra familia .,cuando yo a mi hijo que vive ahí también le inculqué que ahí donde su abuela comía de categoría , y la trataban con tanto cariño era el lugar para seguir el legado y por un inepto mal educado .,todo se fue al traste . Valoren más a sus clientes .,fue vergonzoso verme levantar de las mesas como si fuese...

14 of us went to La Palma in Estepona after looking on Google for a place to eat. La Palma looked decent however we were very mistaken. We stood there for 5 minutes waiting for someone to appear so we could sit down but no one did. We found seating ourselves and then just watched two staff members walk by. My wife went and spoke to one of the staff asking for someone to come over to take a drinks order and for food menus. 10 minutes later still no one had appeared so again my wife went and asked for someone to come to the table again. One of the staff came up 5 minutes later and rudely asked us to move a pushchair out of the way then simply walked off. After over 20 minutes of waiting and the rube man, we simply left. Shocking staff and service,...
