Chiringuito África Beach — Restaurant in Estepona

We had gambas pil pil and grilled sardines for lunch with garlic bread. Food is good-ordinary, fair price. Vibe is also good. Service need improvements. The table and chairs are too close to each other (trying to maximize space for profit). I can literary hear the conversation of the couple next to our table. The food needs to be served together instead of 45+ minutes apart. My husband finished eating and was ready for dessert before I received my sardines and that was after I asked few times for my food. The person next to us also had the same experience. The wife finished her meal and the husband was still waiting for his food. The manager came to their table to apologize because the man wanted to just cancel the order, there was a mix up with their order. The waiters are also confused about the table numbers. They were literally calling out the name of the dish in the area that they are serving and I had to signal him from two tables down and raising my hand to let him know that it was my order. La peor experiencia que vivi en mi vida!!! En todo momento fuimos pacientes y condescendientes porque vimos que los mozos tenían muchas mesas que atender, pero jamas en la vida recibí tan mal atención y malos tratos!! Pedimos la bebida, los aperol spritz no eran aperol spritz, era un aperol con jugo de naranja (sin champagne y con pulpa), intomable. No dijimos nada para no molestar. El agua con gas, la sirvieron en un vaso, le pedimos que nos traiga la botella, paso 1 hora y nunca lo trajeron. La ensaladilla rusa tenia muchísimo limón. Paso una hora, la mesa de al lado que llegaron después que nosotros, ya habían terminado de comer. Nos tuvieron 1 hora al sol, cuando les pedimos si podíamos usar la sombrilla y 2 veces nos dijeron que ya la movían ellos (no nos dejaron moverla nosotros y nunca vinieron a moverla). Finalmente decidimos irnos (estaba con mis padres, de los cuales uno es bastante mayor y no podia seguir esperando en esas condiciones), nos acercamos a hablar con uno de los mozos, y empezaron a insultarnos, cuando en todo momento fuimos super educados. Lamento enormemente que exploten al personal de esa forma, para que emitan ese odio a los clientes. Hasta las cocineras me insultaron.

No lo recomiendo a nadie, mala atención y mala calidad en bebida y comida. Ir a este chiringuito es fomentar la explotación del personal.

The worst experience I've ever had in my life!!! At all times we were patient and condescending because we saw that the waiters had many tables to attend to, but never in my life did I receive such poor attention and mistreatment!! We ordered the drink, the aperol spritz were not aperol spritz, it was an aperol with orange juice (without champagne and with pulp), undrinkable. We didn't say anything so as not to disturb. The sparkling water was served in a glass, we asked him to bring us the bottle, it took 1 hour and they never brought it. The Russian salad had a lot of lemon. An hour passed, the next table that arrived after us had already finished eating. They kept us in the sun for 1 hour, when we asked if we could use the umbrella and twice they told us that they already moved it (they didn't let us move it and they never came to move it). Finally we decided to leave (I was with my parents, one of whom is quite old and could not continue waiting in these conditions), we went to talk to one of the waiters, and they began to insult us, when at all times we were super polite. I am so sorry that staff are being exploited in such a way, to emit such hate towards customers. Even the cooks insulted me.

I do not recommend it to anyone, poor service and poor quality of drinks and food. Going to this beach bar is encouraging the exploitation...

Awful experience at this beach club. Reserved 2 beds and when we arrived they had been given away. Spoke to a member of staff who dismissed us extremely rudely, while the rest of the staff completely ignored us. Another waitress came up and laughed, saying that reserved beds are given away at 12, which was never said to us before. She said this while we were looking at 2 beds on the beach that were currently still reserved. She told us to wait a minute and never came back to us. Eventually we just left after being treated with as little respect as possible....
