Chiringuito Tropical — Restaurant in Estepona

We went first on 06.08 ( on a Sunday, full of people) and food was nice, also the service quick ( approx. 40 minutes) considering how many people there were on the table. So we decided to return on 07.08: bad decision! First, the girl with glasses who took our order did not seem to understand basic EN words like milkshake, ok I speak Spanish so fine by me. Then she brought us plates on the table but only the one on top and the one at the bottom were clean, the ones in the midddle were collated with rice left from the previous guests ( not well washed and checked). Then I got my order ( tuna) but not my husband's ( sardinas) and neither my daughther's ( octopus leg). After 1 hour when we saw people who had come after us get their sardinas , I started asking around about our order. The girl had not noted down the whole order and surprise-surprise she was just finding out now there was no octopus leg left at all and no alternatives were proposed. We cancelled the order ( except the tuna of course) , my family went to have lunch somewhere else and the only thing we got were excuses from a colleague of that person, pretending the kitchen was overloaded etc....the issue here did not come from the kitchen but from the waitresss who was unable to do her job. Later on in the afternoon another incident kept spoiling our day when we returned on the sunbeds: a pack of rude children aged 5-12 kept throwing the ball from the other side of the fence in the sunbeds area, shouting silly things and disturbing the tourists on purpose. Extraordinary bad tempered serviced. We had been before 2 yesrs ago and was fine. It took ages for a fizzy water to arrive. Waiter kept averting gaze to avoid taking the order for two older women. Es un chiringuito que frecuento desde hace tres años pero las dos últimas veces que he hido ne he sentido engañada y discriminada El pasado día 19 hice reserva de mesa por la noche para dos, no había espetos, entendible se habían acabado,pero tampoco había espetero... no pasa nada así que pedimos un calamar plancha para compartir, sorpresa era un chipiron (ración para una persona sola 20€)

Vuelvo el día 24 sobre las 12,30 del medio día y pido meda para dos y me dice el chaval joven( hijo del dueño) que lo tiene todo lleno y que pase más tarde puede que hueco, a lo cual le digo que sin problemas Una hora más tarde me acerco a la barra para pedir unos mojitos y cual es mi sorpresa que delante mía el señor mayor( el dueño) atiende una llamada y reserva una mesa para 5 Con lo cual le reclamo que donde queda mi reserva y ahí es donde este señor de forma muy grosera analtando la voz empieza a darme un sinfin de argumentos tontos que para mi no tienen lógica En resumen Decepción las dos últimas visitas y que no volveré a este lugar porque me ha decepcionado He de decir que el resto del personal ( la mayoría ...
