Had a strange evening here. The Pizza’s were outstanding, the starters very good, but the service left a lot to be desired. The front of house seemed to be run entirely by a teenage boy who, while not unfriendly, certainly could have been more attentive. The place wasn’t busy and I understand being a waiter is boring but even when it came to paying the bill, I had to get up from the table and go and find him. He was sat outside the restaurant with what I assume were friends and family, chatting. What makes this night grimly memorable is that it was the night The Queen died. We were sat at our table, phones pinging with WhatsApp messages & texts telling us the news. Our you waiter bounds over to our table unexpectedly, with a huge smile on his face, and asks us “Where are you from?” “England” we answer. “The Queen, she is dead” “Yes, we know. Very sad” “Eh, she had to die at some point. Very old” Walks off with a huge grin

But when you walk through this restaurant, the aroma of freshly baked pizza is so enticing.
It is an authentic Italian pizzeria where, based on the story i had from the family member of one of the owners (alongside with my experience and gastronomic journey while enjoying my pizza and wine) had their own heirloom recipes and flavors which are passed on from generation to generation.
What can I really say? Approved!
