This relatively new pizzeria is a gem and absolutely worth making the trip to Cancelada for. I'm a huge fan of thin, crispy stone baked pizzas topped generously with high quality ingredients and that's exactly what you'll get here. The base itself is superb - the owner says it's left to prove for at least 48 hours - and you can really tell. I normally leave the crusts on pizza - not here though, I didn't want to leave a single bite. The restaurant is ran by an Italian family, who clearly take a lot of pride in what they do. Dessert of the day, which was Tirimisu, was also homemade and excellent. Can't wait to go back here. Definitely the best pizza I've ever had in Spain and up there with some of the very best I've had in Italy too.

After reading all the reviews I just had to simply see what all the hype was about. Sadly I was disappointed. Welcoming staff ✅Drink served cold ✅Good service ✅ pizza 🍕 not so great. Burnt edges that needed to be trimmed. The dough was undercooked. ❎ The tiramisu while fresh; lacked biscuit and liquor ❎Ultimately unless you have faith in a reviewer the review may as well be meaningless. I left disappointed 😔

What an authentic place!!! Don’t know how many people dream of being in Italy while they are in fact in Spain - but coming here immediately throws you into a typical Italian chaos of fine tomato scents intermixed with the unmistakeable buzz from the kitchen and a chef so remarkably guest-friendly, he would lend you his Vespa for your way home if you asked him. Best above all: the food is remarkable and lets you forget instantly you are sitting on plastic chairs and have little more room next to your elbows than in a fully packed airbus 320 in row 36 seat B. Good news: Don Giovanni will soon move to a bigger place just 40 meters to the right. Let’s hope the chairs will stay this close to each other, let’s hope they keep the sparse while assorted-with-love menu as is and most of all - just move that perfect chaos two doors to the west without changing anything concerning authenticity or food quality. Cinque stelle. Italian...

Leggo... The best pizza...ma stiamo scherzando?
