El Cantegril — Restaurant in Ferrol

Frankly, this restaurant was an okay pizzeria but very far short of some of the other reviews here. The pizzas were NOT thin crust. The crust was still tasty, but the pizzas weren't special. The starter salads we had were fresh and good value. If you're looking for a reasonable local pizzeria this isn't a bad choice - but our expectations were too high. Whilst not inclined to hyperbole, I feel induced, nah compelled even, to recommend the pizzas in this restaurant. The foundational prerequisite of the thin crust was exquisite. Baked to perfection, as is so rare, the base was crispy but not dry, pliable but not doughy and the taste was rich. If ever a pizza base was tending towards perfection it was this. Un lugar ubicado en zona turística de Ferrol, está escondidita la calle pero seguro si preguntas cualquiera sabe y conoce donde esta el Cantegri, son tradición,y no solo eso,son hechas con esmero y calidad de productos, saben muy bien,hay dos tamaños: la familiar y la normal, con la familiar comen 4 personas sin problema. Don riquísimas y si hablamos de la atención es bastante buena, además de esto su dueño es quien hace las pizzas y está allí y sale para dar una atención muy cercana y familiar. Es recomendable llamar para reservar,aunq puedes tener suerte y conseguir mesa sin avisar. Recomiendo que si vienes a Ferrol las pruebes. Ah y lo mejor!
