Interval — Restaurant in Figueres

I recently dined at a restaurant and tried their paella. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the dish. The main issue I had was the lack of meat in the paella. It seemed like there was hardly any meat in the dish, which was a letdown. Paella is traditionally known for its rich flavors and variety of proteins, but this version fell short in that aspect.

Aside from the meat issue, the overall taste of the paella was mediocre. It lacked depth and didn't have the vibrant flavors I was expecting. The rice was slightly overcooked and lacked the desired texture. The seasoning was also lacking, and the dish could have benefited from more herbs and spices to enhance the taste.

Furthermore, the portion size of the paella was underwhelming. Considering the price, I expected a more generous serving. It left me feeling unsatisfied and wanting more.

On a positive note, the presentation of the dish was decent, and the service at the restaurant was attentive and friendly. The ambiance of the place was pleasant, creating a comfortable...

The calamari was crispy and soft, super delicious! The seafood pasta however was a bit lackluster, only three mussels and shrimp with a thin sauce. The tapas are worth it. They accidentally gave us something we didn't order, and we thought it was included, so we ended up paying more.

However, as helpful as the food symbols were some were incorrect and can be potentially dangerous for those with allergies. The squid and octopus were grouped under 'fish' when they are also mollusks. This is dangerous for those with shellfish allergies. Squid and octopus are not fish, but...

The service was so bad we were hesitant to even stay long enough to even start our drinks.

In one minute (while still looking at the menu) we got asked if we were ready to make a choice 3 times. We didn't even sit down yet the first time.

When (to be able to breathe a moment while looking at the menu) we ordered 2 soft drinks they came back fast, but the waiter just threw the cans and glasses on the table without even looking where they landed.

Of course we did not stay for very long afterwards.

The sanitary facilities are not very clean either, so not even one...
