Restaurante O Centolo — Restaurant in Fisterra

It is a very nice restaurant, it has two floors. We had a coffee and a pastry after lunch. They opened at 8:30 PM for dinner. We sat at the first floor in a covered terrace with the port view. They brought up croquettes to start that were delicious. We got calamari with french fries with aïoli and lime for dipping. The calamari was a little bit too dry and the french fries two fried. We also got white wine and they gave us a Ribeiro. It is a soft, sweet wine that I particularly enjoyed. The main dish was a seafood paella (paella de marisco). It was a little bit too salty. But the amount we got was enough for two for dinner. The service staff was very attentive and kind. There was a table with two very drunk man that were obnoxiously loud and somehow aggressive. I personally felt very uncomfortable because no nobody in the staff did anything so I decided to leave...

I went and sat down at an hour the place was almost empty to have an early dinner.A waitress came over and asked what I wanted very loud and rude. I told her dinner. She then put the approximate cost of a dinner on a piece of paper and I shrugged and said that’s okay. I guess she thought I didn’t have the money because I was a pilgrim doing the Camino. To me she was trying to find a way for me not to be there because she then said if I had reservations. Our waiter was very sure of himself but I have to say, everything he said was 100% right!!! We all Had meals that were phenomenal and our deserts were too! He let me taste 3 wines before ordering a cup and then left the bottle saying if you don’t finish it don’t worry about it I’ll charge you by the cup. Well…we finished it!
