I reached Cabo Fisterra on a motorbike from Sicily – the most extreme point of my journey and a deeply symbolic one, as this is considered one of the westernmost points in Europe. The scenery is breathtaking: dramatic cliffs, roaring waves, and a wind that makes you feel truly at the edge of the world.

I clearly remember the emotion when I parked my motorbike near the lighthouse: after so many kilometers, it felt like I had reached something meaningful – a personal milestone. The silence, broken only by wind and sea, made me pause and reflect. It’s one of those places that stay with you.

The Fisterra lighthouse, built in 1853, is both charming and iconic. From there, you can admire a spectacular view over the Atlantic Ocean. It also serves as a symbolic destination for many pilgrims who choose to continue the Camino de Santiago all the way to this "final stop."

Visita obligada al Cabo Fisterra donde los romanos creian que el mundo se acababa aquí en el "finis terrae"situado en la Costa da Morte: paisajes naturales, playas y vistas espectaculares. Para llegar con el Google map hay que poner Faro Finisterre ubicado en lo alto de una pequeña montaña, que tiene buen acceso por carretera y un sendero para los peregrinos que decidan ir caminando. Dispone de un pequeño aparcamiento y muchos coches aparcados en arcén, que complican un poco el acceso a pie a la parte final del recorrido, debido a la cantidad de gente asistente. Lo primero que nos encontramos es un par de tiendas de souvenirs, luego una taberna ilustrada, luego el mojón de kilometro 0 (uno de los tres más fotografiados de Galicia), luego el faro y detras la cruz, donde los peregrinos al acabar el recorrido depositan sus pertenencias , como calzado, cachabas , etc.. o las destruyen. En los alrededores existen diversos miradores desde se pueden observar los grandes acantilados, el mar, las maravillosas puestas de sol, donde aparte de conectar con la naturaleza, se conecta con las sensaciones del lugar.
