El Camarote — Restaurant in Fuengirola

This lovely restaurant in the square has always been a family favourite over the years. The food are always fresh and delicious, staffs are friendly and attentive even we are foreign travellers. (Note: There is no English menu but the staffs are more than happy to help you with that, or simply use Google Translate) We can see a lot of locals here which really gives a warm & buzzy atmosphere.

Langostinos pil-pil is a must, it’s difficult not to finish whole basket of bread with that. Rosada is a beautiful fish that’s local to the region and tastes wonderful, once you tried it you will have it again. Patatas brava is also lovely with the Spicy Mayo sauce. Great service here the staff were excellent, very welcoming and the food was fantastic as well! It was better than a lot of the chiringuitos on the paseo and much more affordable. We even had a problem with a reservation we made with the fork app so our discount hadn't been applied which was our fault but they honoured the discount anyway and gave us a free coffee!! Estuvimos tomando copas dentro y nuestra mesa que nos sentamos no había ningún cartel de reserva, cuál fué nuestra sorpresa que cuando llegó la hora de cenas nos comunican que esa mesa estaba reservada,no así después de un buen rato nos comunican que no viene la reserva lo cual nos extraña más,al final decidimos cenar y la comida era dé risa estábamos 4 personas y pedimos además de otras cosas Concha Fina y nos traen 2 conchitas pequeñas de risa y le pedimos jamón que tenían colgado y nos dicen que no podían porque no tenían cuchillos,lo dicho de risa. En respuesta a mí reseña decirle que miente porque las otras mesas ponían reservadas y en la que nos sentamos no había ningún cartel y es más preguntamos si podíamos sentarnos ahí y nos dijisteis que si sin problema,sino nos hubierais dicho que estaba reservada y el jamón estaba puesto abierto en un jamonero,no creo que su dueño se lo llevara así abierto,vamos a dejar de mentir y poner excusas mediocres,un saludo y hasta nunca.
