Historic landmark — Attraction in Fuengirola

I liked the place a lot. It was small and cozy resort with beautiful beach and view. We stayed in appartment with amazing sea view, nice terrace so you can enjoy excellent wine and magnificent view. There are lots of apartments that you can rent there and prices are really acceptable. The street with restaurants are really nice as well. Different cuisine and really great local wines. You may find there even traditional Brazil restaurant. However we decided to try only local dishes and wines which was best choice in my opinion. Local people are very friendly and helpful. The main problem is that they don't speak English at all. All the time we managed to understand each other with gestures and Google translator. Be prepared for this, actually it was not only in Fuengirola but it all Andalucia. Only in Seville we found tapas bars where someone of the staff is speaking English. The beach there is amazing, nice sand and really wide. I can't imagine this beach crowded. You can always have your privacy there. You can see it in my pictures as well. Parking is a nightmare anywhere around fuengirola, I would not stay in this area again purely because of the parking issue, nevertheless if you don't have a car its ok if your living near the coast as everything is close by, but if your away from the coast you will struggle with...

Heerlijk wandelen langs deze paseo. Van het begin bij Carvajal tot het eind bij de brug bij het kasteel is deze paseo die loopt van Carvajal, via Torreblanca, Los Boliches en Fuengirola 7 km lang en nog langer dan de Copacabana. Toegegeven de stad Fuengirola is geen culturele hoogvlieger en de hoogbouw verdient geen schoonheidsprijs, maar de stranden zijn prachtig en schoon en het centrum is mega gezellig met werkelijk geweldig leuke horecazaken zeker bij het plein bij Casa Colon. Fuengirola ligt zeer centraal en is een prachtig vertrekpunt voor het meer dan prachtige, culturele en verrassende achterland met super Malaga, verrassend Granada, betoverend Cordoba en wervelend Sevilla.
