Gran Muralla China — Restaurant in Fuengirola

Went to this place about 2 days ago. Food was actually very nice. I'd give it more stars, but unfortunately the portions were very small. I went with 3 other people, and we all went home and had a sandwich to fill ourselves up. I had the menu of the day which was fairly cheap, but it was basically a tester menu. A couple of table spoons of rice, and 5 tiny chicken balls in my sweet and sour, a sweet and sour that had hardly any veg in it. A noodles was also ordered and a Singapore rice, but again they weren't a whole lot bigger than the items I got in my menu of the day, and again seriously lacked vegetables. I've been to numerous Chinese restaurants in Spain, and they all generally have the same price, but the portions are always really good. In this place it was like they had ran out of food, and we got the last of what was left. First time I've ever ate at a Chinese restaurant and left starving. We had experienced a very long and hot heatwave day out and we're making our way back to the apartment in Los Boliches. We needed some quick no nonsense but good quality food and chose La Gran Muralla Chinese restaurant on the seafront next to the Sandpiper. We chose the 9.95 euro 3 course meal deal starting with spring rolls, main courses were chicken curry and chicken with mushrooms & bamboo on top of fried rice then had ice cream to finish. Beautiful food, served with efficiency by a lovely young lady at front of house. A very busy and popular restaurant a very comprehensive choice menu, although there is only one waitress, she works extremely hard and efficiently, being friendly and helpful, keeping a good sense of humour. The food arrived hot and flavourful, and as we had the set meal for 4 the courses were split up and served in good time.
