We recently had the pleasure of dining at The Sandpiper in Fuengirola, and it’s safe to say this was a standout experience — one we won’t soon forget.

Went to hopefully enjoy a nice meal for our last night in fuengirola.Foid was nice but the service was not.The staff seemed to be quite content to stand and chat to people they knew that were having a meal but tended to ignore everyone else.I could almost tell you the foreign girls life story about her dad doing cycling and her stories about her family.All being told while we had been waiting for about 30 minutes for someone to ask us if we would like a dessert.When I went to coplain about the lack od service to us I was told by the tall blonde guy that I should have tried to attract his attention as he was very busy.Really!!!When my husband has already spent £50 on our meal.After that not one of the staff made eye contact with us. Value for money, choice and quality of food is he best I've experienced anywhere in the world. The steak and ale pie has basically a supermarket sized packet of tender beef in it. I'm nervous with meat as fat makes me throw up. No fat just melt in mouth, perfectly cooked, tender meat. Chicken liver pate again best I've ever had. Apple pie is homemade as is the lemon meringue...made how they should be. There is an excellent choice on the menu and another favourite was the spring rolls and also peppercorn chicken.
