Kamasutra indian restaurante — Restaurant in Fuengirola

Visit mid-Feb 22. Where do I start. If you are expecting the bland food offered by UK based curry houses then walk on by.

This curry restaurant is much more traditional than the UK offer. Whilst it has dishes we will recognise, the cooking is far superior and much more like traditional Indian cooking. My wife and I sampled many of the dishes offered and found them all to be very well spiced and balanced. My test dish is a chicken madras. Absolutely perfect. Not too hot and perfect spicing. The Naans were to die for, soft but also crispy, not like the flabby offer in the UK.

The service is excellent and attentive without being over powering. The owners are a delight and very friendly.

I have for many years argued for a return to real Indian cooking, not the Anglised version we are offered. Anyone who follows my reviews on Tripadvisor will know this.

I have absolutely no issues here and would recommend anyone visiting and trying the fare. Trust me on this one, give your taste buds a treat!

Is it because I love Indian food, or possibly because we were hungry - but this place was perfect !!!! Let’s start with the service : every single person that works there is so friendly and kind. They serve the food fairly fast, and are so patient when an indecisive customer like me, can’t choose which dish is best (they all looked so good!) Food : they start you off with three very different but delicious sauces, served with … not sure what that is.. a very very think type of bread ? Then the food - wow ! Every bite was delicious. So creamy, spicy (how we like it), flavorful! It was so good, I wanted to order extra naan bread to wipe every bit of the sauce from the little pan. I’m definitely coming back - and they have super fast wifi 😆

May 4, 2023 Never disappoints! The service is so fast and both, Ashu and Sara are very friendly. We tried the following tonight :

Lamb Buhna - Delicious!!! My husband’s favorite so far. Lamb Dhansak - it has lentils mixed with the lamb. Not bad, but I prefer the tikka masala or curry (spicy). Chicken Madras - my son’s favorite. Has a hint of sweetness...

Additional Update - I have been fortunate to go back to Andalucia for the 2nd time in 2 mknths. I had to go back to the Kamasutra this time with the family. We didn't have a reservation, but that didn't matter they accommodated 5 of us and yet again another exceptional meal. I will return again at the next opportunity. Thank you to the owners, and I look forward to my next visit whenever it may be.
