Just awful, treat like second class citizens, we are 2 English ladies in our 40’s, enjoying a family holiday. Asked for a table and were told the tables were reserved and had to sit at a high table, until they realised we wanted a seafood platter and then we were miraculously allowed a proper table ! Service awful, never asked if our meal was ok, had to ask 5 times for our bread, which was an absolute joke, the bread basket was within 5 steps away from our table. No finger bowl, no serviettes, no pouring of our wine. I would expect much more, I will not return nor will I recommend. For 95 euros the platter was ok but no lobster, in a restaurant earlier, a resort away , we saw a family enjoying a seafood meal with lobster for 70 euros that they said was fabulous, shame it wasn’t within walking distance from our hotel. Save your money and go to another restaurant that will welcome your custom with a smile. I normally only write good reviews but this was so terrible and leaves a bad taste for our time...

We have been to branches in Malaga and .Marbella but first time here. Terrace is quite pretty and to start off with plenty of waiters with the emphasis on the wait until they had finished chatting. My wife ordered a glass of cava but when waiter turned up with a bottle with just a little in it we knew it was going to be flat! He returned with an unopened bottle and made a performance of opening it which resulted in the cork flying off o in one direction, the wire in another and the cava on the floor. Ordered three courses to share and the first 2 Ensalada Rusa and Gambas Plancha were fine but third course of pescaditos with fried egg were tasteless and swimming in oil. Took some considerable time to have plates cleared, obtain the bill and pay. Noticable that some guests were offered an after dinner chipito but we weren't. Fuimos al restaurante en temporada alta y, a pesar de no tener reserva, nos acomodaron amablemente en una mesa para tres, lo cual fue un buen detalle. El ambiente del lugar es agradable y acogedor.

El servicio fue un tanto irregular. La camarera que nos atendió mostró mucha seguridad, pero en algunos casos, como al preguntar por vinos espumosos, nos ofreció un frizzante, que no es lo mismo. Sugeriría que el personal adopte un enfoque más humilde y se asegure de estar bien informado, ya que una actitud más receptiva y profesional siempre ea mejor de cara al cliente.

En cuanto a la comida, pedimos una parrillada de mariscos como entrante y una lubina de 1 kg a la sal como plato principal. Después de una espera algo prolongada, comprensible dada la cantidad de gente, la camarera nos marcó la mesa para el termine y informó que la cocina había cometido un error y que servirían ambos platos al mismo tiempo. Si bien esto puede pasar, creo que en un restaurante de este nivel sería ideal manejar estos contratiempos de manera interna sin afectar el ritmo del servicio ni incomodar al cliente. Agradezco que se preocuparan por mantener la lubina caliente, pero me preocupó que al estar demasiado tiempo en la sal pudiera afectar al pescado.

Cuando llegó la parrillada, debo decir que fue excelente: gambas, langostinos y carabineros cocinados a la perfección. Sin embargo, las navajas y coquinas tenían algo de tierra, lo que fue un pequeño inconveniente, pero en general, estuvieron bien.

El principal aspecto que me gustaría destacar es la lubina. Cocinarla a la sal es una técnica que realza los sabores naturales del pescado, y en cuanto al sabor, se notaba que era un producto de calidad. Sin embargo, me pareció que la lubina pasó demasiado tiempo en la sal, lo que afectó su textura, volviéndola aguada y sedosa. Además, habría sido un buen detalle que nos mostraran la pieza antes de cocinarla y que la limpiaran adecuadamente frente a nosotros, lo que hubiera mejorado la experiencia.
