We visited early in the evening and experienced a bit of a wait before the staff greeted and seated us. Once seated, we received a different appetizer than what we ordered, and our entrecôte was cooked differently than requested.
Interestingly, shortly after ordering, the waiter asked if we could finish by 9 PM due to a reservation, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. There was also a minor mishap when our water bottle was taken away prematurely.

I was happy to stifle my thoughts and leave slightly underwhelmed knowing the missus had a good time.
However, Karim (the owner) pushed me for my honest feedback, probably hearing me moan as brits tend to do when anything is less than ideal. When I spilled the beans he invited me back and promised to make it up to me - nothing weird - just cook another steak for me.
We went back the next day and was treated to the most juicy high loin entrecote I’ve ever had. Genuine and friendly service from an establishment that strives to be better, though they're clearly already doing a great job.
