Restaurante Los Corales — Restaurant in Fuengirola

WARNING!! Do not go to this restaurant if you are a tourist and you can't speak Spanish.

Me and my wife with kid went to this restaurant last Saturday and received a very bad dining experience. When we arrive and my wife approached for asking a table the waitress act like we didn't book(but in reality we did and confirmed) and told us if we would like to sit inside then only 1 table left (the worst one as under the TV).

After we all set down We had to wait for a very long time before being served, when my wife try to complain for this I even tried to calm her down saying it could be just the restaurant is too busy but in reality it is not true. We noticed 2 tables next to us were served so quickly (even one of them was sitting down in a similar time with us).

After the order we waited for food and turned out the food never came out for more than an hour, we kindly asked the waitress for the food order 3 times and all they mention is wait. I was trying to calm myself down for that when me and my wife noticed the food ordered by the neighbouring 2 tables came out so quickly and even 1 table had already ordered and came out twice before even our food arrived! All that because they spoke Spanish and so the waitress are just serving for them!

When the food finally arrived, we immediately noticed the grilled squid was already cool which means it actually being cooked a long time ago just no one brought that out to us.

After we finished our food and trying to pay for the bill, the waitress claimed they only accept cash which means I had to rush to the ATM to get cash out (and unfortunately the Spanish bank charging me €7 for taking out the cash which is a rob), I thought it was just purely my mistake as some shops could just accept cash but later on my wife told me the 2 tables next to me paid by card!!!!! I was like WHAT???!!!!😡😡😡😡

Not to mention the whole order is around €73 and after I paid €80 the waitress gave me back loads of coins instead of a €5 note and €3 coins purely because they hope I won't take all the coins away!!!

It was such a extremely BAD EXPERIENCE and I can't believe this type of restaurant could do these things to customers, I would STRONGLY not recommend any tourists to dine in this restaurant

PS: I could smell the act of racism as we were the only Asians in the restaurant but I wouldn't say anything on that and I hope it was not...

We were lucky to get in here, we hadn’t booked and as we sat down it began to fill rapidly! We now know why! The food was fresh and delicious, and the service friendly and unpretentious. 2 starters, 4 mains, bread, olives, 3 soft drinks, a beer and a bottle of wine was only €77! We couldn’t believe it. Sorry to have discovered this place at the end of our holiday or we would definitely have come back to sample more! Best meal of our holiday thank...

Had a meal here with family and can only describe the service as a Faulty Towers Experience. The food was served one meal at a time to the wrong person and the food was cold. One of the dishes was served and 20 minutes later the vegetables were then served. I have been told that this is not their normal service but I will never be back. I had a cold steak with cold chips in a sea of blood. Very poor...
