We had a fantastic experience at Los Marinos Paco during our visit to Fuengirola. This is the kind of place that truly makes you feel the essence of the Mediterranean, both in terms of the atmosphere and the food.
We started with gambas al ajillo, which were absolutely excellent — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and with that rich garlic aroma that immediately makes you want to mop up every last bit of sauce with bread. The croquettes were also outstanding, crisp on the outside and creamy inside, clearly homemade and done with care. For the main, we had the grilled squid, which was beautifully charred, tender and juicy. The quality of the seafood really stood out, everything tasted incredibly fresh.
The location is another highlight. The terrace is right on the beach, so you get the sea breeze and beautiful views while you eat. It gives the whole experience a relaxed and authentic vibe, perfect for a long lunch by the water.
The service matched the food — the staff were very friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and always ready with a smile. You really feel welcomed here.
Overall, this is a place worth seeking out in Fuengirola. Fresh seafood, great cooking, a beachside terrace and warm service — it’s hard to ask for more. Highly...
Read moreWe recently dined at resrant and I must say, it was a disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow and unprofessional. The waitstaff seemed uninterested and inattentive, making the entire dining experience frustrating. We had to wait a long time for our order to be taken, while other customers coming after us got even startes and we didn't even order a drink. We order several dishes: cocinas (with sand), spaghetti for kids (just broken into half's and burned with red sauce) , raw clamps (was not fresh, send it back -did not pay) and fried grande langostinos (fried shrimps) When the food finally did come, I was very disappointed to find that the shrimp were not properly cleaned. There was still a lot of grit and the veins hadn't been removed, which is unacceptable, especially for a dish that’s supposed to be the star of the meal. It was a huge turn-off, and it made me question the overall hygiene standards of the restaurant.
Overall, the combination of poor service and subpar food quality, especially with the shrimp, makes it hard for me to recommend this place. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that offer better service and attention to detail in their food...
Read moreI accept they had had a busy lunch trade when we walked in around 5pm. We got a table and ordered drinks then food. They didn't have the gazpacho or any Paella as they had sold out. That was fine so we stuck with our sardine starter and had garlic bread instead of the soup and 2 moules marinara for mains. We got a garlic bread and a moules delivered as our starter so I told the gentleman what we had ordered so he took the moules away and after a short while got my sardines. Then about 30 minutes after our starters one moules came out. We'd had enough by then and told him we had ordered 2 but not to bother with the other one. We have been here for 2 weeks now and it was by far the worst experience...
