I can't say anything about the food, because at the end, we don't eat here. On Thursday morning (after the horrible Strom) we drove from Valencia to Gandia to be able to went to the grocery, get fuel for our Car and things like that. We called the Restaurant and ask if they are open and that we will be there in 30 Minutes. The guy told us that the kitchen will be open at 1pm. So we said, no problem, we will come, drink Coffee and will eat there with 6 persons at 1pm. As we arrived, our son ask the guy if we could charge our phones, because we come from Valencia, have no power at home and our phones are nearly empty and we need to charge them to be able to follow the News and keep in touch with our Family. We saw, that there were chargers all around the bar. He said that he will not let us use this and that we should go to the Hotel. I mean, we don't ask for free Lunch or something like this, just something small like charging our phones. We saw horrible things the last Days, but nobody who is not willing to help in such bad days, but this guy. Of course, we don't eat here and spend our Money where people are so unfriendly. We went to the RH Hotel, have several coffees and Drinks and after this we went to the Mykonos Restaurant to have Lunch. The best Decision we could make,...

We ordered serrano ham with cheese, 'Crab claws', and 'Tiger Prawns'. The only good thing was the serrano ham and cheese. The crab claws were not crab claws, but instead tasteless, mushed up crab of some sort with, rolled into a ball, deep fried, with part of a claw stuck in the end. The tiger prawns (or so it said in the English menu), were mussels with some sort of creamy sauce inside the shell, and again, deep fried. We definitely expected fresh seafood especially being so close to the port! Wouldn't recommend and there are so many better restaurants...

The calamares a La Romana were also delicious, battered and lightly fried to perfection. The staff were very kind to us and were understanding of our varying levels of Spanish. I would say the jamon Iberico and croquettes were not amazing, but overall I enjoyed eating here and...
