Today, our group of six, along with our families, had the pleasure of dining at Restaurante Miramar in the beautiful town of Garachico. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home.

The food was simply outstanding. The fresh fish was perfectly cooked and flavorful, showcasing the best of Canarian cuisine. The Canarian-flavored salad and avocado octopus salad were true highlights, bursting with freshness and unique flavors. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing.

The restaurant’s location offers stunning views, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. It’s the perfect spot to relax and savor a meal while taking in the breathtaking scenery.

If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the ventilation, which could make the overall atmosphere even better.

Another great food experience on our visit to Tenerife. It’s Sunday and some of the Restaurants in the beautiful town of Garachico are closed. We wanted Paella and some of the other restaurants only have tapas available. So we tried this place and it was a good choice. You enter through the ground floor up some steps and are greeted by a cheerful waiter who got us seated quickly. One thing we noticed here is that nothing was too much trouble. We asked for some items that weren’t on the menu like a tomato and onion salad and bread and olive oil to start and it was sorted. Just ask and they deliver - thank you for that. The restaurant was nice and clean and it overlooks the seafront. The traffic passes below but it’s not intrusive and adds to the warm atmosphere. The seafood paella was very tasty and the rice was exceptional. We paid around €20 per head and it felt good value. The restaurant has a beautiful location overlooking the sea, although the nearby road can be a little noisy. We started with the croquettes and shrimp. Service was impressively quick—the shrimp arrived just as we finished the croquettes. A couple of the croquettes were slightly cold in the middle, but they were still very tasty. The shrimp had a fantastic presentation, served sizzling in bubbling oil, and while they were a touch tough, they were still enjoyable.
