Bar Jai Alai — Restaurant in Getxo

After a walk along the long beach promenade in Getxo I fancied a sit down and a snack. I started looking for bars that offered a vast array of Pintxos and decided on this place and I'm glad I did! :) I walked in and my eyes were presented with more savoury bar treats than I could of imagined! I went for 5 different pieces (at €1 each) both meat and seafood ones and they were all amazing, but especially the jamón ones...I could of gone back for more but held back! I stumbled across this pintxos bar in Instagram, thought I'd give it a go, and I can tell you that it did not dissapoint. There are a lot of pintxos to choose from and the service was super friendly. With Jai Alai and El Globo, it's hard to make a choice in which I prefer. Definitely my current top 2 pintxo bars in Bilbao. Go for it!

Sitio no recomendable! Para cenar no lo recomiendo, a las 22:30 estaba cenando cuando me acababan de sacar la cena y me han apagado las luces teniendo que cenar a oscuras, el chico de la barra muy seco, ni me a dicho que iban a cerrar porque para cenar a oscuras busco otro sitio. Con las luces apagadas y escuchando golpes de el chico que estaba recogiendo la terraza tirando las sillas al lado mío e tenido que terminar de cenar. Sorpresa la mía cuando e ido a pedir postre y me dicen que la cocina está cerrada, encuentro al cocinero fuera y le pregunto a ver si tiene algún postre echo y me dice que si, le pregunto si me lo podría servir y me dice que sin problema, cuando le comento que sus compañeros me han dicho que no me lo servían porque estaba la cocina cerrada muy amable me a dicho que el de la barra mandaba y si decía que estaba la cocina cerrada el no podía hacer nada. La comida, e pedido unos nachos mexicanos que estaban tan aceitosos que ni el guacamole se pegaba incluso el queso se despegaba de los nachos y las tiras de pollo crujientes con salsa miel mostaza, la mostaza estaba, pero la miel brillaba por su ausencia.
