Bali Coffee & Brunch — Restaurant in Girona

The food here was excellent. We had a Nutella croissant, a small fruit bowl, a ham and cheese croissant, and a caesar salad. The salad was mine and it was generously portioned and fresh. The dressing was tasty and it was nice to have on a warm day. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, a calm wooden vibe with pastel colors. Where this cafe falls short is in the service. The server was nice, but was clearly overwhelmed, and they seemed to be understaffed in the kitchen and in the service. The restaurant has about two handfuls of tables inside and about a dozen tables outside, but they only had one server. There appeared to be one barista, and at least one person back in the kitchen, but it took about twenty minutes to get our drinks(just 2 sodas and 2 waters), and an hour and ten mins or so to get our food. I paid 5.7 eur for really baaaasic matcha and croissant that you can buy for 1 eur 5 min away from this place. I think it’s quite over priced place. The decor is attracting but there are millions places around the world with the same decor. So nothing special. I’m sorry to write this, but I was frustrated. Quite a disappointing and lazily prepared "Nordic Toast" which comprised of two small and very dry pieces of bread, some sliced avocado and one tiny slice of very thin salmon on top of each slice. Had to ask for the sesame seeds which was also listed as an ingredient of this dish.
